I help folks who suffer from trauma regain control of their lives. I use Lifespan Integration to heal the neurobiological synapses in our brain associated with trauma. I help queer folks struggling with issues related or not related to their LGBTQ identity. Who we love is not the whole definition of who we are.

Who we love does not define our sexuality, nor does it define the communities we belong to. My biggest hope for the work we will do together is to cultivate an environment that encourages healing and growth. What is the meaning of your life? Where do you get stuck? What risks are you willing to take to step towards healing?
Services
My approach is collaborative, creative, and direct with a sense of humor. I collaborate with clients to address, for example, disappointment, self-confidence, repeating old patterns, anger, and conflict in relationships. With creativity, I balence the systemic health of your heart, body, mind, and soul.
I specialize in facilitating difficult conversations. I utilize a process tool called "How to have a Difficult Conversation" to facilitate conversations between family members, mothers & daughters, divorcing parents, and angry couples. I have a lot of respect for the emotion anger, a howl of deep pain.
I predominantly treat trauma with a relatively new non-traditional therapy, Lifespan Integration (LI). LI clears the affects of past trauma on your current life. LI uses neuroscience as a foundation to enhance, rearrange, rewire and form a more coherent solid sense of self in the present moment.

Lifespan Integration, as its name implies, is a new therapy which integrates neural structures and firing patterns throughout the body-mind, and across the lifespan.Lifespan Integration can be used to clear trauma or to build self structure or both, depending on the history and needs of the client.
I am a queer therapist who is LGBTQ friendly and queer competent. As a member of the LGBTQ community, we can talk about issues related to or not related to queer issues. I specialize in queer politics and queer oppression. I recognize that as a queer person you might not be seeking therapy to focus on queer specific issues, but would like to know that your therapist is LGBTQ friendly and queer competent.

Angela restored our relationship with our adult child and taught us strategies and mindsets that are helping us to this day. She is kind, gentle, incredibly smart and capable. Some sessions were very very hard but none of us ever felt unsafe. She creates a calm, healing environment in her cozy therapy space. Cannot recommend her highly enough.
