I really wanted to like this place. I wanted to give them a try even with the negative reviews. I attempted to go rent a 3 bedroom. First thing I asked about was the parking and the smoking weed out in the open.

I was told at the church even with the permit parking wasn't guaranteed. I'm renting a 3 bedroom and you are telling me you can only give one parking space is ridiculous. Listen and the smoking, they are hanging out in the front of the apartments smoking. The first unit to the left when you walk up the walkway. They were partying. The washing machines are always broken, there are roaches, parking is terrible, no full access to the amenities, the office staff is unprofessional.
Don’t move in here you are better off finding another place. It’s overpriced and overrated! The worst part is every time you try to tell the office staff about your concerns they automatically get defensive, gaslight you and make your concerns seem small and stupid. They absolutely cannot be bothered to help you.
Everything that they promise you in the beginning you will never get, even simple things like keys. And asks for receipts for everything

Steve the handyman was the best ever! I lived in this complex for 4 years and I've never experienced EXCELLENT service from the maintenance staff....he came in a greater my furbaby Bella who instantly approved of him...he fixed my issues and discovered new ones..he was knowledgeable, professional, kind and attentive....my son has been battling allergies and he checked our air filter and vents snd discovered they desperately needed replacing and it wasn't on his paperwork...thank you Steve for the wonderful suggestions and looking out for my family like we're yours, which meant a

Do not move here !! Worst mistake ever management is not helpful if you are a minority. Maintenance never fixes issues and there are bugs everywhere.

I was so excited to move here. Everything was smooth. Upon getting our keys they told us they assigned a temporary parking for us and then on a certain date we are to move to another parking spot which is designated for our apt. They called us prior to getting our keys and we agreed and they wrote on a sticky note what we agreed on the phone n attached it to our paperwork which I have. So first day no problem. 2nd day we are moving everything in the apt and I parked my car at the temporary parking spot they told us to park to and by the time I got off work we had to go run for errands for our baby

It's been over 3 weeks and I still haven't received my deposit money back this place sucks employees have bad attitudes and there money hungry was quick to move us in but the place was falling apart a lot of things should have been fixed before we move in reached out to my attorney and they are going to take it from here

Please do not live here, go somewhere else. Rent is high and customer service sucks, they have attitude when you complain. The washers and dryers keep breaking and the management are slow to respond to tenant's complaints.

We had Steve the maintenance operator at our apartment homes and as normal he fixed our problem very fast and was super kind about it I highly recommend Steve if you need your problems fixed asap and done appropriately. Thanks Steve you’ve turned these apartments around.

Steve is a great maintenance employee. He is always as helpful as he can be. He is always polite and respectful and gets the job done efficiently and correctly!

Wish I can rate zero star, the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in.
Many many roaches, dirty place.
laundry room always occupied by people outside.
Bad sound proof, upstairs old man keeps yelling to his dogs everyday, we can hear it clearly in the mid night.
Weed smell everywhere.
If it is not usps ups fedex, the delivery always failed because delivery people are not able to get in. leasing office not accept package.
Expensive rent, and hard to park your car.

Unfortunately Vicino Apartments wasn’t for me, beautiful community two pools gym nice outside fireplace all these necessities however it still didn’t feel like home for me. And my leasing agent Jennifer Divers so understanding and respectful of my decision to decline. Her sentiments were pure and honest she didn’t push as to why she was very patient and understanding. Thank you Jennifer.

This is going to be a long one, but it'll be an honest one. To give perspective, I lived here for a year in 2018 and moved back in 2020 for 15 months and renewed my lease for another year. I've been very fortunate to have not needed any maintenance thus far... but from other reviews, it sounds pretty awful. So this is just from my personal experience.

Pros:
It's a decent apartment and it looks nice superficially. You have the gym and the pool, a dog park, and a playground. It's generally in a safer neighborhood. It's "gated" even though some doors can easily

Lived here for years, but definitely had great customer service and fast repairs done by Steve! It makes the complex and management feel very personable. Thank you so much!

I have nothing but great things to say. Anytime we need anything at all it is taken care of right away! The office is always provides a great experience. Overall I feel safe and secure here. My lease is approaching renewal and will be staying!

We lived at Vicino apartments for 10 years. It is a great community to live in. Pet friendly, we had 2 dogs at one time. The grounds were well cared for, the office staff, maintenance staff, and housekeeping staff were professional and responded in a timely manner to any requests.It was very family oriented with many children around. The surrounding neighborhood was very nice also. It was easily accessible to the 605, 91, 5, and 22/405 freeways.
We’d recommend living at Vicino apartments.

Love living at Vicino! The apartments are renovated, beautiful, well laid out, with beautiful landscaping and awesome amenities. Situated near great shopping, restaurants, beaches and parks everywhere it's a very user friendly location. Pet very friendly, allocated parking, and maintenance and gardening crews beyond awesome and skilled. And so nice every time. Hope you love it like we do

I have been living here a little over 1 month, and I have to be compl honest by saying that Vicino is A1!! Love my apartment complex. The rent is high, BUT you get what you pay for. It is never dirty inside here, and the landscapers come what it seems like twice a week. The team is responsive when it comes to work orders, whether it's a light bulb or the door. Kay, Bobby, and Lindsay in the front are the nicest leasing office staff I have had in the 9 years I have been on my own

This apartment complex is very expensive but is very trashy. The laundry facilities don't work. There is dog crap and garbage everywhere. The office is worthless. They don't help the residents at all. The office staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I can't wait to move. Worse place ever.

Please save yourself and family/loved ones from moving into this apartment complex. The management will use fear to keep you in their mold infested apartment. Vicino does a great job of trying to make the apartments look nice but it's all scam. They only care about money and not the lively hood of their residents. Their is a roach infestation problem- they have weekly pest control that comes on site. A staff member told me this is what you get when you live in low income housing (they discriminate and believe that people of a certain class deserve a low quality of life) .

THERE IS MOLD

Don't be fooled, it's very pretty no doubt about that but the management is a joke they don't get back to you with any problems that you have. They've switched management 3 times since I've been here. People let their kids run and yell all throughout the hallways. We've had a package stolen and the management pretty much told us "Oh well, there's nothing we can do about it." So now we've had to have a camera installed. On New Year's Eve people were blasting ilegal fireworks really close in the pathway between buildings and running down my enclosed

I had an appointment for a tour the lady that attended me gave me a map for me to do a self tour and say the doors where unlocked . I walked all the way looking for the apartment number to find out that the door was locked . The lady say oh you can view it online too . She never say let me go open it for you . Horrible customer service

I would not recommend this place to anyone ! It's bad enough that there's roaches had issues with no cold water but my whole ceiling collapsed with water and it's been like that for 3 days. I have small children and i let office no that it needs to be address it's not safe and they tell me they are backed up with work load on matience if this is something u want live in ? !! I wish someone would have warned me for the sake of my kids .

Do not recommend at all. Too many issues to list but most frustrating of all is that I haven't had a decent shower In my own home for a long time. It's always scalding hot. I've filled out maintenance request numerous times. And they've come out once and didn't know what was wrong. It's so unacceptable, the ac doesn't work and we've made several requests for that as well. Do not live here! It's crazy to pay the amount we pay and cannot live or shower comfortably... these things are essential and they don't care.

I lived there for a year and 3 months,
During that time management changed 3 times, and and every company had its own payment system, sometime you gotta pay online, sometimes cashiers check, and sometime you just have to pay in cash.
And don't get me start with "Deposit return" cuz there is none, somehow they can change the owed deposit to penalty fee and you can find yourself paying instead of getting your money back.
Dog poops and pees are everywhere.
Parking lot is not safe
