Shawn was excellent with performing my home inspection for my insurance renewal process in Pinellas County. The appointment was setup quickly. He was always on time and gave advance notice of when he would arrive the same day. He always responded quickly via email and phone and text. He help me to work with an out of county insurance agency in Broward county which made unusual requests about pools, electrical panels, and kitchen knobs. Shawn performed the most thorough home inspection on a home we were purchasing, and provided the 4-point inspection and wind mitigation reports with photos very quickly. Shawn did the inspection the day after I called him, which is so important in today’s real estate market when you must make your decisions quickly! He spent hours pouring over every detail of the home and gave us a clear, in-depth report. He found some things that we used to renegotiate the price of the house with seller. It's incredibly rare to run into someone and a business that can accomplish all those positive things. And, he was fair priced! I needed an inspection of our home for insurance purposes as we are renting it out shortly. I called Shawn Monday morning and he returned my call within an hour. By 11:30am the same day Shawn was done with the inspection and had our report to us by early afternoon. He was very helpful and professional. The fast response was just incredible to be honest. I had Advanced Home Inspections of Florida inspect the home i was purchasing. Shawn was very professional and personable. He walked us through and explained the defects that he found. I hired Shawn because he is also a General Contractor. He was able to tell which walls were load bearing and which were not. He was also able to give repair costs and incorporated those costs into the report. His reports are very detailed with photos and was very easy to read. I would defiantly refer Shawn to my friends and family.

Very pleased with Shawn’s inspection of a house we are purchasing. He did a thorough inspection and was very helpful in answering our questions about the property. We received an inspection report right after the inspection that was both comprehensive and easy to understand. Communication was excellent throughout the process. This is truly hands down honest, highly trained, actually does the work. I’ve bought and sold homes for a lifetime and the last inspectors were totally worthless and so were the ones before that.

Shawn from Advanced Home Inspections did our home inspection. He was very professional and thorough. We felt very comfortable with our purchase after the inspection. He used an Infrared camera to find some hidden water issues that the sellers didn't even know about. The sellers paid for the fixes and the sale went thru on schedule. Thank you Shawn!

We hired Mr. DuBois to inspect several homes we were considering buying, he did an excellent and through job on each. He found hidden issues with one and we declined that home. He inspected the second home that we did purchase. The use of aerial inspection for roof inspection was amazing and unique. Great details on the roof. He also used an infrared tool to inspect the electrical panel where we found a couple of connections that needed tightening. We plan to hire Shawn any time we need a home or building inspection.
