Enjoyed the escargot and the lobster thermidore. Both were phenomenal. Ambiance was great for a date spot, despite the small space and piano being a tad loud. Will definitely be back.

Obsessed with this place! I'm not a huge fan of fancy restaurants because honestly they are always bland to me. This restaurant killed the stereotype for me. Amazing food and exceptional service! They took the chicken item I loved off the menu and I called them asking about it. They made a reservation and said not to worry, they'll have the chicken for me. My friends told me to follow up and said I doubt they'll end up actually getting me the chicken. I told them they don't know how good this place is and I trust them 100%. We got seated and the server immediately informed me

This was the first time we have visited St. Martins. The service was flawless, people filled our water before it was half empty, the waitress was very attentive without being overbearing, and our table was ready upon arrival. They also had live piano music which created a lovely atmosphere. The special of seafood newburg was the most delicious thing I have tasted. If you're in Dallas come to this restaurant which has been open for 44 years!

Took my girlfriend here for a date night and it was our first time here. Wow this was a fantastic meal and my girlfriend said this was the best meal she had ever had in her life, no joke! I ordered the Duck and she had the Beef Bolognese, it was all fantastic!!! We will definitely be back here. We also met a couple who had celebrated their anniversary here for 38 years. They also never let your water cup go dry, the service here is exceptional!!

I’ve wanted to go to St Martin’s Wine Bistro for a long time. We love French food & I love great wine, but I honestly don’t get it.
The Maitre D’ was incredibly nice, but the food was mediocre at best and the wine list was terrible. I don’t understand the great rating, at all. Definitely won’t go back.

We always have an amazing experience here, but St. Martin just gets better and better. Our server, Persia, made our son’s 12th birthday a thing of MAGIC. Not only is the food just ridiculously fabulous but the service is over the TOP! We cannot wait to go back.

St Martin's was a wonderful dining experience. I had never been here but the reputation preceded it and we decided to have an intimate Thanksgiving lunch. The food was excellent, the service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance was wonderful. Everyone was properly attired for a holiday meal out. Be sure and try their Champagne Brie Bisque. It's lovely. All in all, worth the time and effort. Certainly a spot to add to the "must do or must repeat" list

The Valet the restaurant pays takes your car for drives while you eat at an overpriced dinner. I took before and after photos as I always do. I called the restaurant to inform them and they wanted nothing to do with the issue and didn't care that it occurred.

It's been over seven years since I've been to St Martin's but tonight we came back because we were back in Dallas and it was as if no time had passed at all. The quaint, well appointed interior makes you instantly feel comfortable.

The service was impeccable, just as we remembered. The food was fantastic as well. We had a couple bottles of really nice red Zinfandel, and ordered a couple of appetizers including the muscles in the champagne brie soup. The soup was as phenomenal as I remembered, and I loved the Thai chili and ginger broth that bathed the mussels. Truly fantastic. Their

I wanted to try someplace new when I visited Dallas earlier this month and decided to try a French restaurant. I've been craving beef bourguignon for quite some time. I decided to start with French Onion Soup. It came out hot, and cheesy which is exactly how I like it. I arrived early for my reservation, so my table wasn't ready, but I was quickly offered a spot at the bar. The bartenders were on their A game, giving me drinks almost before I was finished with the one before. They did a spot on job. Next came out the beef bourguignon. The beef was a bit dry, but the veggies and

I recently purchased a house down the street and was excited to try this restaurant as I am French but instead I was really disappointed. I had a reservation for 2 on Friday night but was told upon arrival that there was a wait because the tables hadn't turned. I had no problem waiting and happily sat outside where I witnessed at least 5 couples go in and get seated before me. Not really sure why they got priority over us. After seeing so many people sat before me I decided to go inside and let the restaurant know they could cancel our reservation. The best part is they didn't remember

Very nice evening with my wife. Ambience was very romantic. A gentleman plays nostalgic piano and is quite the character. Wait staff attentive but not in you face. Food was very good. Highly recommended

We live within walking distance of St. Martin's and I will be extremely sad if it ever closes. It was the last restaurant we visited before the pandemic and on the way over we joked that it might be...(whomp whomp)

That being said, I'll try to be objective and explain myself further:

My husband and I usually go here for cocktails and a light dinner at the bar (soups & appetizers). We've had the full experience before and made reservations for an anniversary, but to be honest there are better "nice" restaurants in Dallas.

I don't go to St Martins for the food

Had one of the best meals I've ever had last night in Dallas. My husband booked a table for 2 on a whim & it was a deliciously romantic choice. I had no idea this place existed but apparently it's been around since the 70s. Decor & ambience is incredibly dated and dark in a rich, historical way. But not stuffy. We sat in the back room with the huge chandelier & proceeded to enjoy:

Dirty martini w/blue cheese olives
Makers Mark Manhattan
Caesar salad
St Martin salad
A bottle of Bordeaux (forget what we picked but I would be shocked if they had any bad ones on their extensive

My boyfriend M read countless menus to plan a special date night for us, and he decided to go with St Martin's. I had never been and I got myself excited about the duck a l'orange well ahead of the dinner.

The day finally came and we headed to the restaurant. Parking is pretty tricky, and I think they have valet parking, but when we arrived, we didn't see anyone outside, so we opted to just find a parking spot and walk over. We found a spot in the neighborhood not too far away.

When we entered the restaurant, we were promptly seated. I noticed the piano player and the dim lighting

What a great experience we had at St. Martins. It was my wifes birthday and we wanted something special. I did my research and St. Martins came up on a few lists of romantic restaurants. Never heard of it. We booked for Saturday night at 6pm.
It is intimate and the lighting is perfect. We decided to put ourselves into the hands of our waiter, James. Good choice. From the escargot to start, to the lemon sole to our desserts, James was pairing our food with the perfect wines.
He was not intrusive, but attentive. The food was wonderful, the ambiance romantic and the service impeccable

Came all the way from Charleston & Chicago to check out this gem. Loved the live music and interior. The atmosphere was dark and moody in the best way possible. We loved the fireplace and chandelier in the back room where we were seated.

We were seated promptly at 8pm for our reservation. The back room had few tables and our server was very busy and seemed overwhelmed with 5-6 tables. She was the only server in the back room. First, I'm a manager of a restaurant in downtown Chicago so I can't help but notice the small things and little details when it comes to this industry. Sadly

The dining experience. The pianist. The waiter. The food. Everything was amazing. We went for Dallas Restaurant week and left overjoyed! The entire night was amazing and drinks were great. We didn't get our waiter's name but he was spectacular. His personality, knowledge of the menu and relatability made everything great. We even had a glass of champagne on the house! The ambiance was great and it's tucked in lower Greenville so you will pass it if you're not paying attention. Little gems like this do still exist in Dallas! I would for sure go back again!

Cute, quaint restaurant with an intimate atmosphere in Lower Greenville. If you're looking for a nice date night type environment, then look no further!

We got a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape pinot noir, the signature champagne brie soup, La Petite Salad Et Betterves, and escargot to start. For entrees, we got the Le Filet de Boef Au Poivre, Pommes Frites and lobster tail with scallops and shrimp + mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables on the side.

I absolutely loved our appetizers! Escargot is a go-to favorite of mine, and these were certainly delicious! If you're a fan of escargot

Easily my favorite restaurant in Dallas. Quaint, beautiful and romantic. Service from experienced staff who have timing and tact down perfectly. They don't hesitate if you ask for suggestions, this staff is well-versed in how to make your experience perfect. The kind of service you crave everywhere else.
The food is amazing. I usually order fish or lamb but everything is perfect here. They have a platter with sampler cuts of various meats. Can't go wrong there!
Just be sure to start with the champagne Brie soup, and grab a cocktail before your wine.

Not my style. There's some good here but a lot of questionable items and I'll preface this review saying this place might be your thing but it's certainly not mine.

First, the location is great. Easy to find, valet parking, cute neighborhood. Inside, however, is outdated and exhausting. The bar area we walked past did seem spirited, but the back dining room felt like it hasn't been changed in many years. Some might like that, but to me it seemed like I was eating in a dead rich guy's dusty basement. And the lighting is very old school - I enjoy a dark and intimate night

This place has totally went downhill. So very sad as it used to be in our top 3.

This last visit the "filet" hubby got was not a filet at all. It was some other kind of beef like round steak or something. It was actually frightening that they actually tried to pass it off as a filet. Hubby was very upset about it.

The salmon was undercooked but the risotto was perfection.

The real disappointment was we couldn't wait to leave bc the whole place smelled of cleaning products or something sour. The whole restaurant smelled horrific.

Won't return.
