Spinnaker offers our owners and residents the security and efficiency of an in house maintenance team. What does this bring our owners and residents? Peace of mind. You have the peace of mind knowing that the people visiting your home are known by us and are experts at their task. You know that if we have hired a contractor to address a need, they are being carefully overseen by one of our maintenance staff.
Giving back is a great way to get to know your community and its citizens. That's why we partnered with Beer & Bites, Next Chapter and Landlord Liaison Program to give back to our community. Each month our owner Mark Melsness is busy preparing and delivering a Renters Readiness class at Landlord Liaison Program's headquarters inside of Associated Ministries in Tacoma.
The courageous women at Next Chapter identify and address their barriers to housing. Each women this organization assists, creates a plan with the goal of securing stable housing as soon as possible for themselves and their children. Next Chapter provides not only assistance with housing stability but also life skills development, job skills training, financial literacy, behavioral health and legal assistance.
We are navigating a world that looks nothing like last year - except when it comes to cancer patients. New diagnosis continue to happen each day. More than 1.5 million people will die from cancer this year. Much of the world has paused, but cancer simply does not pause. It ravages patients and their families, and creates even more distance for those undergoing cancer treatments.
We give each customer our full attention, combining strong ethical values and effective business practices to make the process as stress free as possible. At SPM we understand that every real estate investment represents an important personal and financial transition for the people involved - often touching on some of the biggest decisions of a lifetime.

I hope Mark the owner of this building reads these reviews, as he needs to know what Spinnaker and their Team are really like...
I also have had nothing but problems with Spinnaker since they took over the management of our building.
Trying to get anything done within the building is a joke. Spinnaker asks that you supply a written order on their website in the maintenance section.
There had been a roof leak outside my front door that also entered inside my apartment into my coat closet which resulted in mold.
I had to contact them several times regarding this leak which I lived with for 3

We have been renting from Spinnaker for about 5 years. I love the staff, maintenance staff, and the fact that we have had a home all through this crazy past year. Holly has tirelessly worked to keep her tenants in their homes and I couldn't be more appreciative.
When we first moved in we didn't have the best credit, we had a previous eviction and she gave us a home with our good references. Now our credit is much better and we are looking to buy a home early next year. None of this would have been possible without Holly and the owner giving us a chance.

I sold mt home and had been looking for a rental for 2 months with no luck. With 10 days left to be out of my home I walked in to Spinnaker and explained my situation. Within 6 days, my paperwork was processed and I had the keys to my rental. The people there were great and I would definitely recommend them. 😁

Continuous communication issues. Unrealistic raises in rent for a duplex, costs about the same in a safer area for our full house now. Left windows sealed on our house since painted a year ago, fire hazard. People who painted our house left massive amounts of garbage that they never handled and also were doing hard drugs. Left rusty nails in our yard we were picking up for months. Poorly slapped up a previously promised fence with carcinogenic materials. Fridge broke multiple times with week long waits. Had to obnoxiously call. Charged $400 off deposit to repaint one room. Paid someone to deep

Spinnaker property management is such a great place to rent from. With all of the difficulties of the pandemic they made touring potential units super convenient and safe. Spinnaker managed my Tacoma Rental house for several years. They did a great job for me! Operations Manager Holly Gary is on top of all the details of the hundreds of rentals and tenants they have. Spinnaker maintenance people were always quick to respond to fix any problem. Spinnaker's team worked closely with me to resolve problems with tenants. When I sold the house 2 years ago, I hired Spinnaker's painting crew to prep my house for sale. They did a great job. I would highly recommend Spinnaker to local rental property owners.

I have a rental that has been a challenge to get ready to rent. The previous tenants left a mess before Spinnaker got involved. Mark and Dean came out and gave me a complete list of what we needed to do, told me how we are going to do it, and got it done. They then got it rented incredibly fast. What impressed me the most was the proactive approach they took. If something needed to be done, they told me and were also sensitive to costs. This place is a joke. I have never lived in an apartment that charges fees for maintenance. Maintenance came out because our bathroom floor had a little water on the on it due to shower curtain being away from the faucet
and it leaked down to the living room. So they charged $150 for maintenance to come out and look and she said it was our fault and that in order for them to fix it would cost round 400 or we could do it ourselves.
I've never been treated so poorly. The office staff are horrible and maintenance is a joke.
Now we have a towel bar in our bathroom that the anchors are coming

Worst management company I have ever dealt with! If I could I would give them no stars. First off they could care less about your experience living in one of their properties, starting with not even responding to maintenance requests. They will just flat out ignore you and then threaten to charge you if you ask for them to come out again. They are a nightmare!! Steer clear from any listing by them.
