Adobe Cafe

I like the atmosphere. Sat at the bar area. The glass arches gave an open view to the dining area. Good presentation on the food and very appetizing. If I could give a crown as a added bonus to the rating I would. A young man served my shrimp tacos, which were quite delicious, with a folded napkin underneath. This meant the world to me as I didn't have to place my utensils on the counter. I look forward to an opportunity to go back.

Not bad for a quick bite. Prices are decent. The queso cheese dip is really good.

Good service. Bland food. Ordered steak and chicken nachos. The cheese had the most flavor. Brother ordered one shrimp and one fish taco, tortillas had more flavor than the protein. But good service. Polite staff.

Awesome food at very fair prices! Jocelyn was our server. She was efficient and friendly! Hubs had the beef fajitas on the back page of the menu and the beef was SO tender and succulent! And not TOO much! I had the Adobe Chalupas which are really meatless tostados smothered in quezon! DELISH! The margarita with a side shot of Grand Mariner was only $10!!!!

We were a group of 8. On arriving, the cafe was full…but we were seated quickly. We were prepared for a long wait on service, but were pleasantly surprised to be greeted immediately by our waiter, Christian, who seated us & said he’d be right back…From then on, through our entire time there, he was very efficient & cheerful. All orders were correct & oh, so yummy! At this point, the quality of the food barely matters, but it was excellent! Kudos to the cooks & crew…and the management for a job well done in difficult times❣️We’ll be back❣️

We sat at the bar and the bartender waited on us and was excellent and attentive. He was the only one working in the bar area and he carefully took care of all customers this way. Food and drinks were excellent as well (and as usual). Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

5 star for sure. First time here for lunch on a Saturday. All 4 entrees were excellent. Will be coming back! Great service as well.

Food is fine and service too but I don't appreciate being charged extra for additional chips & salsa.

Really enjoyed our dinner! The service was wonderful and the food was equally wonderful. The chips had a nice texture and crunch, along with the queso made a great start. My chimichanga was nice, but maybe a little more crispy would have made it perfect. The fish tacos were good. It was all tasty and very good size, nobody left hungry!

Always great service and delicious food every time I visit this Adobe Cafe. The beer on tap is cold and served in a chilled mug. The staff always have a smile and acknowledge you the moment you enter the room. The food is always as ordered and actually arrives extremely fast. I will be a frequent visitor to this Adobe Cafe. I highly recommend this awesome restaurant if you want delicious and authentic Mexican food at a decent price; and you want it served by friendly and courteous professionals. A+ service every time!

We ate here tonight for the first time since moving to NB. Very impressed with the food and service. Food was fresh, hot, and tasty and the service was fast and with a smile. Would give it 5 stars if the margaritas had been really good, but they were just meh. The food and service was 5 stars though!

Great options for everyone including kids and vegans. Service is attentive and food is always fresh. Would recommend to anyone.

Dropped in for a quick bite for lunch and was not disappointed! Service was great. Food was delicious. Skinny margarita was absolutely tasty too! First time here and was worth the stop. Parking was easy and restaurant was larger than what it appeared outside. No mistakes with food order and it was also brought out in a timely manner.

Very tasty. Tex-Amex is always a hit or miss. This was a definite hit. Loved it. Will eat again if we go back.

Overall very good! The queso with beef was definitely a highlight. I got the guisado, which was good. Service at the bar was attentive and fast!

Lunch time -- no lunch specials and there was a line of people ... don't let it stop you ... big cold tall beers and an excellent smooth margarita .. salsa was good and so was queso... fajita chicken taco salad was fresh and full of ingredients - we will be back ... lunch bill came out to $52 for two beers , margarita and two entrees with a side of queso

The food was a little bland but was good. Definitely get what you pay for when it comes to portion size. The service was awesome and we were taken care of well. The food was quick and hot and the atmosphere was quaint. I would definitely come here again.

We tried to go elsewhere downtown and it was crazy so we had given up, convinced we were stuck with a chain. Drove by headed back to 35 and decided why not. They had 40 min wait because of social distancing but zero at the bar which was where we wanted anyway. Walked right in, sat down to a plug (for my poor dead phone), a purse hook, some chips and salsa and a beer. At that moment I knew this place was a 5 star even before I tried the food. Adobe has quickly become my go to Mexican restaurant in town.

Some of my favorites are:
- fajita chicken quesadilla
- sizzling chicken fajitas
- fajita dinner plate
- chicken fajita salad
- regular queso

As you can see, I LOVE their fajita chicken. It is so delicious. I have recently discovered their "chipotle ranch" and I literally put it on everything I eat there, DELICIOUS.

Every time that we visit a new Mexican restaurant we vote independently I want to start group based on salsa, chips, food quality, and service. And these unprecedented times we also have to vote on cleanliness, order, and PPE.

Our wait was insignificant considering the fact that the tables were appropriately spaced, all of the service staff (from waiters, hostesses, bartenders all the way up through management) were wearing gloves and masks.

Not only is their food amazing when you dine-in, but during all this COVID mess, their curbside has been fantastic!!! Everything is always ready, super fresh, and no waiting time! Such friendly staff and the portions are amazing! I can't rave enough about them (even their salads and margaritas!)!
