Our personal trainers build personal relationships with each of our clients, seeking to truly understand your life and how we can help you integrate a higher level of fitness and wellness from right where you are, today. Our mission is to intentionally improve the wellness of those we serve, through mental, spiritual, and physical fitness.

Results are only as good as they last. Our mission is to help guide you in the changes that will stick with you and your family for the rest of your lives. Expertise in our field comes from continual intentional research, learning and application to give you the most effective and safest exercise for where you're at today.
Services
The WELL was born from the observation that movement of the body and the principles involved increased the overall quality of one's life. When progressing and living to one's full potential and wellness in one area of life such as this, it bleeds into all of the other areas of life - an upward, positive swing in all areas!
Not a trouble at all. We're so glad to hear you're thinking about and planning to make a change. We work with everyone from the absolute beginner, no matter the age, to the seasoned athlete. Our specialty is catering your exercise regimen specifically to you. We take everything into consideration.
If this is your first appointment with us, please also plan to arrive a few minutes early to fill out a small amount of paperwork. Our flagship location (started in 2014) is conveniently located in the Fan District of Richmond, VA - close to Retreat Hospital and the VMFA. Parking is easily accessible on the street.
As The WELL grows, we are looking for more excellent, competent, professional and passionate personal trainers to work with on our team. We are a small, private 1-1 personal training studio. Our trainers offer high-quality, high-value, and positive partnership to each of our individual clients.

Different trainers have different strengths, focuses, and personalities, and therefore allow us to deliver a more holistic and complete experience to our clients.Please review our website before applying or emailing. I haven’t actually done business with The Well before, but I felt compelled to write a review. I’m a runner and run past this building pretty often. This last weekend, I was on a long run on Sunday morning. It was hotter than I expected and I was almost out of water only a quarter of the way through my run. As I ran past this building, I noticed the water cooler with cups. I’m not sure if it was meant for the public (I apologize if it was not), but I was so thirsty, I had to stop. I filled my small water bottle up and finished it twice before continuing on my run. I honestly don’t think

Aubrey and Amber have been wonderful to work with - they genuinely care about helping people reach their goals. They understand that incorporating a regular fitness routine isn't easy for those of us who haven't yet developed that habit, and worked with me to make changes that fit into my life - changes I could commit to and be consistent about doing. Aubrey and her team are wellness gurus. The well truly is a unique approach to personal training. They do not stick you in a box, each plan is personalized to each client. They look at your diet, your form, the way you move, and of course a work out too. They msnage to bring success to even the most non believer. I know because I used to not believe in personal trainers but Aubrey made me a believer. Great business! :)

I started working with the trainers at The Well back in April of 2019. Somewhat skeptical what the "holistic" approach really meant, I figured I liked the concept so I should give it a try. Am I ever glad I did. The approach laid forth by the owner is phenomenal. Look at all aspects that make a person "feel well"!
1. Are they "physically well"?
- No, let's build a reasonable and an achievable plan that gets us moving that way.
- Yes, great how far do you want to go? We've built plans for marathons and ironman. We got this.

I took a foam roller class at Richmond Wellness. It was a great class! It's a small, very personal setting. I loved it. The only problem was parking because the restaurant on the corner was having a charity brunch that morning. I found a space about a block away. It was okay though. Nothing like a good brisk walk to prepare you to stretch it out on a foam roller!!
I like the "mobile program" they offer......personal training on the go! Very convenient for busy people. The owner trains one of my friends and he looks amazing!! He said he feels great!

Love these guys. Extremely knowledgeable in what hey do and proving results that are always beyond expectation. Many of my friends have spent time with them getting back to their best and have yet to be disappointed. The owner is also extremely polite and knowledgeable in helping you understand where you want to go and how to get there

Aubrey is a great personal trainer who encompasses all aspects of health, from mental awareness to physical being. She is quick to develop effective workouts while keeping in mind correct form and supporting clients who struggle with injuries and weak areas. Aubrey modifies workouts enough to enable you to correctly do the workout without injury but not enough that you will not feel the exercise. She is quick to respond to your needs and takes into consideration feedback. I have never felt ashamed by my body and ability working out at Richmond Wellness. She is incredibly supportive and positive

Reaching out to Richmond Wellness was one of the best decisions of my life. Aubrey isn’t your typical high pressure trainer who treats all clients like they’re “Joe Fitness”. I live in Florida, but Aubrey has taken the time to remotely train me. She listens to you and what goals you want to accomplish and designs the workouts to fit your specific needs. She also works with you if you need to change your schedule. She understands life gets in the way sometimes. I highly recommend working with her if you want to achieve your fitness goals!

Very nice holistic event at a gym where the owner is a true liver and expert in fitness. Great location and a great setting for wholesome fitness, however this is a lady who's done several marathons and is in great shape....so she creates great workouts and knows how to push you if need be.

I have been training with Aubrey at Richmond Wellness for two years and have seen tremendous results. I initially started working with Aubrey to prepare for getting pregnant and birthing a baby. I trained through 41 weeks of pregnancy and found it to be invaluable before and through the pregnancy. Can't recommend Richmond Wellness highly enough.

I was gifted a Groupon for a 60-minute massage at Richmond Wellness. I had my massage earlier this week and I left feeling great. Marina took the time to ask what my concerns were (upper back) and truly customized my massage experience. It was just the right amount of pressure in the areas I needed most. I knew I had knots, but I had no idea how bad they were (or where they were exactly). The amazing scented candles really put me in a relaxed mood, and reminded me how much I love candles but don't own any at the moment!
They have massage packages and they also offer personal training.
