Freshly scrambled eggs and your choice of smoked meats inside of a 14 griddled flour tortilla. Locally baked bolillo toasted and stuffed with Hatch Mac, your choice of protein and salsas! Location is a tad cramped feeling but other then that the food was good and the coffee wasn't too bad either. It's hard to put into words how much of a local treasure Muchachos is.

This is the food you dream about: tacos, burritos, nachos with hand smoked meats, handmade queso, delicious saw and salsas. I regularly stop in for the handcrafted beverages, including the cereal milk lattes. You can order any of your coffees with a shot of CBD. The artwork is bright and engaging and the staff are always super nice, no matter how busy they are. Muchachos is the kind of local place that you want to see you succeed and it is always my pleasure to go there for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Finally got to try Muchacho's recently! I had been hearing good things since their food truck days. We stopped in to get some food to go to take with us to a brewery. The menu is kind of a BBQ-New Mexican fusion. We got the hatch mac burrito and the nachos to share, both with chicken as they were out of pork for the day. The meat was perfectly smoked and very tender. The hatch mac burrito was messy but very good with just a little kick from the mac! The to-go packaging was on point, as the salsas, avocado, queso, etc were all on the side of the nachos so they didn't get soggy in transit

I never leave disappointed. Friendly staff always greets with a smile and willing to help with menu items. Great selection of local beers and mixed drinks. I don't drink coffee but they have that too, I would assume comparable to the franchises in town people seem to line up for. Highly recommended.

Hands down one of the best places I've EVER eaten! Can't say enough about the food, the staff, and the cool comfy atmosphere that just makes you feel like you belong. The two ladies up front were super friendly, made excellent drinks, and took the time in helping choose the brisket nachos which were absolutely AMAZING! Even the cooks were super nice and appreciative! Great job Muchachos, you deserve 6 stars!!

My wife and I had lunch at Muchachos last week. My only regret is not eating there sooner. I have missed out on eating the DELICIOUS food! The Mexican BBQ fusion has opened my foodie world. I highly, highly recommend Muchachos. Excellent service. Excellent atmosphere. Most excellent food. The flavor explosion in your mouth is unmatched. I had The Pipeline burrito and my wife had the Hatch Mac and Cheese with Pork. A new favorite for us, indeed.

The best new restaurant experience! Took a family of 5 and had a wonderful time. The food was AMAZING! We tried just about everything on the menu.. The staff was even better! Very friendly place with a great atmosphere. Support local, also remember to be courteous, they are very busy for a real good reason. Don't pass this place by, you will not be disappointed.

What a special way to celebrate my brother’s birthday!! Not only was the staff and service friendly, welcoming but humorous as well! The food was delicious and well priced for the portions! The queso was well-made and the establishment bright and colorful! The artwork was particularly entertaining! I ordered a “MuchaCHA” bowl ;) and they custom built it with new ghost pepper chips! I had requested “more heat” and they obliged! A fun and tasty hidden gem you’ll be heading back to again!

I had been wanting to try this place for a while. First off the restaurant was clean and attractive. It's not the biggest place and there was a line out the door when I arrived, but I was accommodated pretty quickly. I had a Mac Burrito, it wasn't a world beater, but was pretty good and a good value for the money as well. I'll probably come back later and leave a better review, but all in all it was a good first experience and I was happy to support this locally owned business.

Walked down the street from work to get some Muchachos today! Ordered online, got there a little early and it was ready! Great food, friendly staff and awesome atmosphere inside. The Hatch Mac Burrito was fantastic! Get it with Brisket! The street tacos are awesome too! Today they were $1 a piece. You cannot find any tacos this good for this cheap unless you most likely go to another state. These were awesome and right down the street from work! Awesome food, awesome atmosphere! Good work Muchachos, glad you are here in Lincoln! Can't wait for more!!!!

Finally got to try the much-lauded muchachos tonight for their amazing taco Tuesday deal! Seriously, $1 for these is such a bargain, there's a good portion of beautifully smoked meat on these so you can be full on five bucks. Also they had a dedicated little waiting area for to-go orders that was away from the seated tables of people eating in, so we didn't have to worry about the particles they were breathing.
The good: taco value, meat portion, meat flavor, safety measures, decor

This place is amazing! I've been here twice since they opened a few weeks ago. The first was for lunch. I had the nachos with brisket. The brisket was perfect. I had the full-sized portion (I'm a big eater) and it was almost too much.
Then I just returned from my second trip, which was for breakfast. I had the large taco, with brisket. I scarfed it down before taking a picture. It was delicious.
Here is the bad news. Their downtown location is two blocks from my office. I have a feeling I will be eating here often, which can't be good for my expanding waistline. Great job

Lincoln's favorite food truck has finally opened a brick and mortar store! Located in the old Method Coffee House, The owner has poured his heart in the making this a great spot for smoked meat, New Mexican cuisine, coffee, and drinks. They've also partnered with Meta Coffee to serve a Muchacho's inspired coffee. When I picked up my lunch today, Mike from Meadow coffee was roasting beans in the kitchen.
The space has been successfully modified to accommodate dining in, with low tables and chairs. They've kept the bar and the taps.

Muchachos may be relatively new to the food truck scene, but it's an absolute home run. Everything I've had there is delicious. The family that runs it is extremely friendly, and they're creative with their offerings. The restaurant calls its cuisine Mexican/BBQ fusion, an interesting concept that not many restaurants are trying - but more definitely should.

When a restaurant touts that everything they do, they "do with passion" it's tough to know how true that is. With Muchachos it's easy to know. Just ask Nick when he takes a break from making whatever wonderful creation is on the menu that day. My first visit I opted for the tacos, two for $7.
