Hands down the best restaurant in Lincoln. Resisted coming here for so long and I don’t why (I’ve lived in Lincoln for 2.5 years and *just* finally went). This is the sort of fine dining experience typically reserved for NY, San Fran, Chicago, I’d argue, and I’m so very glad it’s here. The hot chicken with honey butter (see picture) was the absolute best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Period. (I would eat just those chicken skins on their own for days.) Ultimately ordered 7 dishes and everything was exquisitely crafted, nuanced in flavor. Can’t wait to try their brunch.

We had an excellent meal for our appetizer we had the beats I do not usually like beats but we were stepping out of the box and they were excellent. For entree we had the meatballs and the flavor was excellent.
My only complaint was a covid surcharge on the bill.

Exceptional food and very hospitable staff. The miso seared salmon with yellow curry sauce was delightful. The squash “donuts” are a must—the hot sauce they are served with adds the perfect accent.
The cocktail program was okay. House drinks were too sweet for my palate, and staff wasn’t knowledgeable of classic cocktails like the martini or Negroni.
Overall, a great experience! Highly recommended.

We came here for our first official brunch date, and we were so happy with our experience. I ordered the smoked salmon benedict and it was one of the best and most memorable meals I’ve ever had. We’d love to introduce our friends to this place for a group brunch sometime.

The first time I ate here, the food was absolutely beautiful and tasted fabulous. We went here again Frjday night and I ordered the plum creek chicken breast, and was incredibly disappointed in this, first of all the presentation looked plain and something I could have gotten from a diner, but then I tasted it, could not believe how bland and utterly mediocre it was. DISH...that was completely not living up to your name and especially your chef's name. The 2 stars are for the very nice server, whom I was impressed with!

Really great service and friendly staff. However, the food is pretty overpriced for what you get. I really usually don’t care about how a meal is plated but they don’t do anything to make it look pretty or presentable. It’s not a huge deal of course but just a suggestion to make the food a little more presentable. I like to see when a chef is passionate about the food he/she sends out. You definitely pay for the atmosphere and service, would just like to have gotten a little more bang for my buck.

This place is awful. It came highly recommended from a few people in town, however, this is before they recently changed the menu. The menu is basically tapas. There's obviously a turnover in management as well. I would not recommend this place it definitely does not even meet your basic expectations. There are plenty of great restaurants in this town! We travel a lot and this definitely is not some thing that I would recommend to anyone!

Tonight's dinner was amazing at DISH. The wait staff was friendly, helpful and made the meal a wonderful experience. We did not remember our server's name but she recently moved to Nebraska from Las Vegas.
I can only describe our meal as a culinary experience. The food was delicious. Perfectly prepared, paired with creative sides, and explained upon delivery.
Please try dessert. Each one was interesting and wonderful. They are hard to explain, but must be experienced.

The Dish NEVER disappoints! Marypat's front of house service is always exceptional. Rachel's menus are thoughtful, progressive, and her dishes are impeccably crafted. She has a way of taking familiar ingredients and presenting them in new and exciting ways. Everything that they are doing is above and beyond anyone else in town!

I was very hesitant after reading the menu. I am not super “adventurous”. I picked the filet And my husband picked the pork tenderloin. It was to die for. We had the fried mushrooms and butternut squash soup as an appetizer, absolutely amazing. For dessert we had an apple crisp dish... again amazing. Can’t wait to go back! AND not only was the food great the service was too! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Everything we ate at Dish was spectacular - from the brioche with warm butter to the smoked pork shoulder with cornbread and kale. We especially liked a small plate with cherries, beets, a blue cheese, and fresh mint. Service was warm and attentive.

We visited on our way from Denver to Chicago to visit our elderly parents so we really appreciated how every staff member was well masked and they cleaned the tables thoroughly after each guest - made us feel at ease.

Great local restaurant - highly recommend

Overall I enjoyed this restaurant. I started with an Apricot Old Fashioned, the process was pretty cool they used a smoke machine to add smoke to the drink which was served in a small mason jar type glass and the smoke was sealed in with a twist top. When I opened the glass the aroma of a bonfire (in a good way) came to my nose and the drink was not overpowered by the smoke. Next I went for the Oyster Mushroom Confit and Thai-Spiced Duck. The mushrooms were really good with great flavor and balance. The duck was also pretty good, but was overly salty. I love salt and don't think I have ever

The food at DISH is so exciting! The menu is so interesting I found it difficult to decide on just one entrée. So we had multiple appetizers and their vegetable choices are out of this world! I would've given it a five star rating, except my husband ordered ordered a steak and unfortunately he got a bad cut of meat. they brought him steak tips as a replacement, but they weren't what he was really looking for and we did not get comped anything off of our bill.

This was not only the best restaurant I have been to in Lincoln, but one of the best I have been to in America. My dinner started with the Grapes on Grapes on Grapes cocktail, which was an autumn version of a champagne cocktail. I loved it! And the presentation, with a clove stuck through the lemon peel, was a nice touch. Then came the cauliflower and chorizo appetizer. Sooooooo good. And the main - a petit filet with coffee and porcini mushrooms, plus parsnips, broccolini and sweet potato spheres - was seriously one of the best dishes I have ever had in my life. To top it off, I had the "

Rationale for 2 stars:

*Food, overpriced, and pretentious. Wings ... marinade good, but chicken was dry. Scallops were good, but placed atop a chalky pile of rice mixed with vegetables and some sort of avocado schmear. Green beans, grilled and delicious.
* Waiter, snooty. Was visibly displeased with my husband's order, and made passive-aggressive comments throughout our meal.
* Drinks, overpriced. My drink was delicious, but I'm guessing they made a 300%+ profit.
*Bathrooms, Men's: Smelly, with a rusty sink.
Ambiance: Pleasant.
$75 was too much.
We'd rather eat at home

I've been dying to try this place and a few weeks ago a couple friends recommended we do dinner here as it's one of their favorites.

The atmosphere has a simple elegance feel. The tables are spacious and chairs comfortable. We were quickly greeted and didn't wait at all for a table. Our server was very pleasant and our order was taken quickly.

You can bring your own bottle of wine, but there is a bottle opening fee (15.00), so not sure how much it ends up being worth it but it is an option.

There are a lot of gf options already labeled on the menu and then the server informed
