We have a great team that really enjoys working together. Our very experienced & exceptional executive staff and chefs work hard to insure all events are flawlessly executed. Many of our professional serving staff have been with us since the creation of Venue, but as we have grown, we have added some exceptional team members.

I've always enjoyed the food from Venue, but with the start of the pandemic, it's clear that things are slipping. The food on my last trip about 60% of the quantity from the last time I was in there. It was still good, but it's obvious the cost savings measures in effect. Plus, the vast majority of the wait and kitchen staff have actively refused to wear masks since the start of the pandemic (even when Lincoln had a mask mandate in effect, and have been in a number of times over the last two years, so it's not just a one-time occurrence). I can't believe I've never reviewed this restaurant! It's one of our favs and we hit up the lounge several times a month. The food is so good, they catered our daughters wedding.
We prefer the lounge to the restaurant. The vibe is comfortable whether you show up in beads or jeans. It's all good.
Bari is our fav bartender. She makes a perfect Mojito and Raspberry Cosmo. My hubs says her Manhattans are damn good as well.
You can't go wrong with any selection on the menu. We never miss out of the Brussel Spouts and Spinach dip. Salmon, Drunken Noodles and the Buttermilk

Have been eating at Venue for close to twenty years, under numerous chefs, and haven't been as disappointed as we were last evening. Four mains, three of the four over-salted, all just 'meh' when it came to flavor. The presentations were very nice but the taste experience didn't live up to the initial visuals. I had seafoodx3, each item served over a bland and mushy risotto. The risotto had to have been made well in advance; it was flavorless and dull texturally, a real insult to this venerable Italian staple (when done right). Wonderful service and good atmosphere. I love the layout of this restaurant and very nice modern decor, great place for date night. The servers are very friendly and accommodating, very knowledgeable of the menu. Large wine list and beer, the menu has a nice variety of foods salads, pizza, pastas seafood and steaks. The Mango Ahi tuna was fantastic, we also ordered Calamari but felt it was a little over cooked chewy and salty. I ordered a ribeye with a Worcestershire sauce reduction, they hit the temp spot on and was very tasty, Great dessert menu also. I would say overall a good dining experience

Every time we come to Lincoln for football games, we make sure we have dinner/lunch at Venue. My hubby and I shared some small plates, the ahi tuna, the lobster salad with tomatoes and the pecan blue salad with salmon. It was all top notch, fresh and delicious! This place is always a big hit for us!

As I write this review, I currently sit in the furthest corner in the restaurant (where I can visibly see over 15 tables that have remained untouched during the entirety of the meal), at a dirty table, and with a floor covered in leaves and dirt.
Being sat in the back corner is not unheard of for a younger couple, but this ambience is absolutely disgusting and uncalled for for a couple with a hefty check complete with steak dinners (all painfully below average) and multiple courses, cocktails and wine. Hostesses, think twice next time you sit someone in the worst possible spot.

My boyfriend took me here for our 9months together. I had the Salmon and he had the Surf and Turf. They were both delicious! The house bread was also amazing especially the sweet butter! We had two of the Mules and the Raspberry sparkler and our agreed favorite was the Mimosa Mule. It was so smooth and yummy!

First, a disclaimer or two -- Yes, I know restaurants (and most businesses in general) are still having pandemic issues with supply, with hiring, possibly even with patronage. Yes, our server was brand new. Yes, it was Garth Brooks day in Lincoln.
So, we drove down to Lincoln for a celebratory late lunch at Venue because we'd heard good things. The entrance is impressive -- it looks like quite the luxe establishment, and it's very large inside. (I would suggest they get rid of the frozen meat-to-go cooler. I don't care how good your steaks are, it does nothing for the ambiance.

Disappointed and lacking honesty. Called Thursday morning to make a reservation and was told no longer taking reservations for the lounge. Went on Friday at 4:15pm and all tables in the lounge were reserved. Staff said they are only doing reservations for tonight. Very confused and wanted to get a reservation since many times have seen reserved tables.

One of the best places to eat in Lincoln! The ambiance is upscale casual, the staff are very attentive and provide great service. I had the general tso's Brussels sprout appetizer, the flavor was sweet and tangy, though the Brussels could have been cooked a tad bit longer, they were just a touch too al dente for me. I had the blackened steak salad entree. I highly recommend this salad: portion size is generous, meat was tender, and the flavors of all the ingredients are perfectly balanced.

Enjoyed a Mother's Day brunch here with friends. The restaurant area is nice and well decorated.
Our server headed over quickly and took beverage orders and we headed to the buffet. Everything was really good. I would have expected more flavor from the egg dish. It was fluffy and light but really lacked flavor. Another thing I noticed was the focaccia bread was cut into humungous pieces. I like bread but not that much. I skipped it all together. I'm not a fan of prime rib, so I skipped that. The perfect pancakes made me happy. I had three!
To me the winner here was the dessert variety
