Spring has sprung in the vineyard and it's a beautiful time for a visit! The vines have been pruned to produce a new vintage and as the days grow longer and warmer, little green buds appear bringing color and new life to our view. Roadrunners run through the fields while egrets, finches, and butterflies glide overhead.
Stop by, put your feet up, breathe in new life while you enjoy the view with a glass or two. To help ensure a safe tasting experience, we currently are not offering cheese and crackers with wine tastings. You are welcome to bring picnic baskets and snacks of your own. Check out our Instagram posts or calendar of events to learn about Food Truck and other Food offerings.

The first vineyards in California were planted right here in San Diego at the Mission San Diego de Alcala. Our hope is to establish San Diego County as a well known wine region, bringing wine lovers from all over to experience the taste and beauty of our area. Twin Oaks Valley Winery is a family owned and operated business.
We care deeply about our craft and value working with our land and local growers with state-of-the-art winemaking techniques to produce "old world" wines that feature bold, rich fruit varietal flavors we are proud of. This exceptional wine is cold fermented for six days before 15 days of extended maceration which gives it a rich mouth feel, texture and soft tannins.
Our wine club membership is the best way to enjoy the wide range of our limited-production wines at discounted prices. Your membership offers exclusive access to new releases, the convenient option of finding Twin Oaks Valley Winery favorites at your doorstep three times each year, a complimentary tasting at our Tasting Room for you + 2 guests, and invitations to special events throughout the year.
Twin Oaks Valley Winery offers start-up wineries, individuals, groups and organizations access to our facility and equipment to make your own wine with the assistance of an expert winemaker. Whether you are a start-up winery that wants to avoid the cost of maintaining your own facility or a group with a passion for making wine, we can help you with the details.

Twin Oaks Valley Winery wines are second to none. Malcom, the owner and wine maker, has done a fantastic job on focusing on what is important in a winery which is the wine. He emphasizes on non-sweet wines and specially reds. He has around 10 different red varieties of which I found almost all of them excellent. That is rare for me. He has a bordeaux awaiting bottling that is absolutely killer. Both tastings and bottles are very reasonable priced compared to most of the competition. Imagine $10 for 5 tastings with heavy pours and bottles in the $25 range even for non-members. That would be hard

Run by a wonderful family that will welcome yours with open arms. We became members after coming here quite a few times and felt it was only place for us. Games for kids and outdoor seating with a view of their vineyard. They have no problem talking about their process and showing you how they make their great tasting wines as well.

This place, on paper, shouldn't work. An ex Nvidia engineer decides to move to San Diego and buys a small, local winery off the internet... 6 years later this place is a treasure of San Marcos. Every single wine we've tasted is very good. Every one is different. So it's about what you like, not what's good. We took home the Malbec and the 2013 Cabernet Franc. We'll be back for more!
