To request a prompt service, call us at (775) 348-8333. Silver State Towing has a specialized, state of the art fleet of 16 towing, recovery and road service vehicles.
Only during specified dates and times will the public be able to access vehicles for inspection. Check in at office first and you will be given a bid sheet and allowed access to auction vehicles. If a vehicle has keys and does run you will be allowed to start the motors however you will not be able to drive them.

I watch these guys unload in front of my house, very expensive vehicles that they don't care about. They don't pay attention to how or where they unload, I've seen vehicles dropped off in a very unsafe manner, leaving them open to the vehicle being damaged. I would not trust this service, I will pick another tow company that have drivers who actually care about my vehicle. Very snotty on the phone.

Helped establish this company here in Reno. Enjoyed working for the company for almost 5 years (overall). They provided us with the best equiptment and vehicles backed by years and years of experience that allowed for training that created the slogan we had on every vehicle in the company. "Our Commitement To Excellence" . If the new generation of drivers follows that, any and all exoeriwnces with Silver State Towing will be good enough that you will forget the the reason you had to call. They are that good.

We came down to the Thomas Creek trailhead to a disabled truck. We fully anticipated a disgruntled driver for having to come out to Mt.Rose...We were Wrong. If all of your drivers have the character and personality of Daniel, I will summit that trail again to promote Silver State. The first thing he did was ask to love our warm and putout Great Pyrenees. He even waited a few minutes for us to get the dog to the closest water source. Nothing about the situation was ideal but I couldn't say enough good things about this experience.

Heard a loud truck creeping at about 5 miles an hour and the accelerating very hard around the corner a few times. Myself and some neighbors were concerned at the fast driving at that hour and sure enough the driver came back around for 4th time and hit the gas around the corner again. It's 12am. This loud truck is driving in circles around our block. Why the driver thinks it's awesome to do a hard acceleration coming and going around turns is beyond me. Truck that heavy wouldn't be able to stop in time if a scared cat came flying out. I'm actually glad it was a licensed business

On September 22nd my family and I were leaving Topaz Lake campground when our truck broke down with our 5th wheel attached. We called for a tow truck to come help us. Greg who was our driver came to the rescue, little to our knowledge that this trip back home to Sparks would turn into a disaster 7 hours later. This journey I'm about to share with you is a little long, however.. much needed to truly understand what this company did for us.... we proceeded to leave the area with intentions of getting our 3 dogs (riding in the cab of the truck) and ourselves home. Greg towed us from kirkwood to Lodi. We thought we'd have to wait a while for a driver and the wait honestly wasn't bad. Greg was very friendly and kind the whole ride. Very easy to talk to and feel comfortable around, and that's what you want in a driver! Hopefully we never breakdown again but if we do, I know what company to call.

Yea Triple had called you to tow me and you sent someone who couldn't tow, wow what do you think you are doing sending someone who cant do the job and then leave me there stranded in (-7 degree weather 2 days yea right. So I posted a review on google because I was aggravated in the process of getting a car towed and wanted to have an alternative just Incase AAA gave a long ETA. When I called I was told they had no drivers to call back tomorrow. A few minutes later I get an email saying that there was a response to my comment ( response attached). I find the response very argumentative and unprofessional. None of the words printed was what came out of her mouth or there would have been a better understanding. What type of business respond in an argumentative way to a negative review? Shameful

Silver State was the only tow company willing to tow my vehicle from Truckee, CA to Auburn, CA. A 60 mile tow. AAA tried for 22 hours to get a tow for me and Silver State was the only service that came through. If you need a long haul tow from this area don't bother with the others. Call Silver State directly or ask for them through AAA. The truck was clean and new. The driver was intelligent, articulate and knew exactly what to do. I had to ride back with him and he was a pleasure to spend 1.5 hours with. I believe his name was Andrew? Anyway, I would have given them a 5 Star other than the

If I could give 6 stars I would! The dispatch was courteous and informative. Awesome service provided by Andrew the tow truck professional, he is the best! He took us from Myers/South Lake Tahoe all the way to Sacramento. He was courteous, friendly and very professional. He took great care to make sure and not damage my husband's car any further. We lost a wheel leaving South Lake Tahoe to go home to Sacramento. Thank God the incident happened before we got onto the twisty mountainous highway 50. That could have been deadly. Silver State stepped in when another AAA tow company could not

Terrible customer service. They charged my card twice and they can't tell me why. The person in the billing department was extremely rude and ended up hanging up on me. Before she hung up I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said that she doesn't have one. I then asked if she was the store owner, and she said that she wasn't. Seem odd that she doesn't report to anyone, not even the owner. It was all very weird and unpleasant. Don't waste your time with this company.

Wow!! Ronnie was amazing as he insisted on trying to jump my battery which I felt positive wasn't the solution, however, very kind of him to take the time to see if that would of worked. So, as I thought, I did end up getting a tow. I rode with Ronnie to drop my car off and his wrecker was extra clean and he was very pleasant to talk with. I have a Triple AAA member but didn't realize that they only cover 5 miles and we needed to go 7 miles and he could of charged $10 per extra mile and he waived the $20 and said he was just glad to help. This is the kind of tow service that is expected

Waited 4 and a half hours for a tow that never came!
I broke down on Mt. Rose Highway and was literally on the side of the road. After 3 hours of waiting I flag down a driver so I could call back to check up with them and the driver said he drove to the top of Mt. Rose twice and didn't see me... Really? I'm literally on the side of the road with my flashers on. He says he'll come again though. I told him exactly where I was and that I didn't have cell service at my vehicle but I would be waiting inside it. Another hour and a half goes by and still no show!

It's just the worst. An ETA of 11:35 pm turns into it actually coming at 1:00 a.m.. i almost thought they were intentionally messing with us. Every time we called, they said it'd take 15 minutes for the tow truck to get there.
