Developed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy & USAC coach. Strength & Mobility modules draw from my experience as a Kettlebell Trainer, Strength & Conditioning coach, 200 hr Yoga RYT. You are a cyclist who wants to level up & get your strength & mobility work off the bike dialed in. You want expert guidance perfecting(or learning) lifting techniques or recovering from injury.

Dara is terrific. Instead of treating the symptoms of the problem, she deals instead with the root causes.

Additionally, Dara spotted specific peculiarities in my gait that neither my orthopedic surgeon or podiatrist picked up. We're targeting strengthening complementary muscles to straighten that out and head off further problems; I'm excited about that...

I just had the most amazing PT session with Dara soon after getting hit from behind by a car on a recent bike ride. She got me in right away for an awesome treatment and injury assessment session when my HMO was booking me a week from now at the earliest. She did such an incredibly thorough and thoughtful full body evaluation of all my impact points. She even took the time to do an NTSB style accident reconstruction evaluation to figure out in which directions my body was impacted and stressed by the impact points. She was such an amazing PT!

Ms. Dara Richman, DPT, was well-prepared and direct with her questions.
We determined that my sore Left lower back was due to too much furniture moving and improper lifting technique. She asked me to show her how I lifted and asked how much I was lifting.
I was lifting with my back, and keeping at it too long.
She asked how I coped with the back pain.
I was stretching too much and being too impatient about it.
She had me do alternate stretches and showed me how to get into and out of bed in the morning. She also suggested icing the sore area.
Results: terrific! I can start playing tennis

Dara rocks! I've been going to Dara for a shoulder injury and she is really thorough with her evaluation and program development. I've seen her a few times and she is great with continued follow up and making sure I'm progressing with my healing. I'd highly recommend her for anyone who has a sports related injury!!

Every time I go to see her, she is on schedule, greets me with a smile, and is very personable... you can tell she loves her work and she cares. Not only that but her follow up is remarkable, punctual and she goes the extra mile with email and phone check ins.

I have known Dara for over 10 years - mainly as a cycling colleague. The love of the sport brought us together. It was a complete shock to me when I realized she was also a seasoned, experienced PT AND Coach!. Earlier last year, she was nice enough to take me on as a coached student. As a racing cyclist herself, she was able to create for me a tailor-made set of exercises ! Her expert knowledge of body mechanics and how it relates to cycling directly, have helped me immensely in getting back to racing shape.

Dara is really an amazing physical therapist. I wish I had known of her practice after my knee surgery. She helped me through strengthening exercises that really improved my knee and transformed my cycling. she is really knowledgeable, thorough, and engaged. Sometimes it might take you a long time to find a good physical therapist but when that wait leads you to Dara well the wait was worth it.
No review can do her justice. Just come and give her a chance and you will truly be amazed by her.

Dara is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced PT and I highly recommend her for any athletes who may be struggling with injuries. I'm an avid cyclist and began to develop some serious pain in my low back and hips. I tried bike fits, yoga, strength stretching, and rest, but the pain wouldn't subside on or off the bike. I was doing what I could based on independent research, but with limited benefit. After getting treatment with Dara, she really helped me understand the connective tissues and the deep stretches I needed to be doing regularly, along with the type of dedicated strength
