Infinity Hope Center is a telemedicine practice providing telepsychiatry services to anyone who lives in the State of Michigan.
Telemedicine is the process of providing healthcare from a distance through technology, often using video conferencing. Telepsychiatry is a subset of telemedicine, which can involve a range of services including psychiatric evaluations, therapy (individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy), patient education and medication management.

Services
During psychopharmacology visits, I will monitor the efficacy of medications the individual is currently placed on, inquire about potential side effects, and at times use genetic testing in individuals who have experienced multiple medication failures. I offer thorough education on any medication prescribed.
Dr. Thompson was awarded Top Doctor of Nursing Practice by the International Nurses Association and featured in the 2018 edition of Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Dr. Markita M. Thompson DNP, AGNP-C, PMHNP-BC, TBHP is a nurse practitioner who received her training at The University of Michigan-Flint.
Susan earned her Masters of Counseling from Oakland University to fulfill her passion of helping others in a personal setting. She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and Development and a Masters of Teaching. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
It's a nebulous term that is often used, but most of us would have difficulty describing what it means and what good self-esteem looks like. In the modern world, this is a particularly difficult topic for the digitally connected community, especially children and teens. Some might identify self-worth with the feelings they get when.
Dr. Thompson's office is located Downtown Detroit Michigan. She sees all her clients online, therefore she can see anyone who lives in the State of Michigan. Dr. Thompson does accept some insurance policies in her private practice. However, not all insurances cover telehealth, telepsychiatry or video conferencing services delivered by a Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Thompson and the folks at Infinity Hope Center were critical to me getting through the Covid-19 pandemic in one piece. I had been attempting to get treatment for a condition for years with little success. I was finally able to get assessed and begin medication while working with a different doctor who abruptly left her practice, leaving me stranded. But Dr. Thompson began treating me with one of the smoothest transitions I have ever experienced. She made great use of virtual tools and was able to keep me moving forward with minimal hiccups. I was in one of those familiar boats where I loved my therapist but needed a new prescribing professional for medication management. It is important to me to have a professional who understands healthcare more as just the absence of illness. After looking at several other prescribers, I chose Dr. Thompson for her multiculturalism and experience in several clinical settings. While it took a session or 2 to develop rapport, she has helped me through a rough medication switch with compassion. I have been seeing Dr Thompson since 2018, and she is excellent! Very warm, compassionate, and knowledgeable (and sometimes funny). I first started seeing her and the therapist Brenda for management of insomnia and ADD, but have received so much more from infinity hope than I was expecting. They have helped me to develop better coping skills and healthier relationships (and even navigate a horrible roommate situation). She has even inspired my career change from ER nursing to psych nursing. Highly recommend her as a mental health provider!

Dr. Thompson is amazing. I’ve been seeing her since August 2020 and I feel amazing. She is patient, caring & open to change. If you don’t feel that something is working, she makes you comfortable enough to speak up and let her know you’d like to try something new. I’ve been name dropping her to anyone who will listen since our first meeting. I highly recommend her to anyone considering getting psychiatric assistance.

My experience with Infinity Hope and Dr. Thompson has been life changing in the most positive way. I have been with her over two years and at 60 Years old I’m running 6 miles every other day, working full-time and feeling great ! She is professional, takes time to listen and provides helpful feedback. She has my medication dosed correctly and for the first time in my life I have experienced long-term sustained relief of symptoms. Infinity Hope also offers a wide variety of wholistic products and services that are helpful in supporting both my physical and mental wellness. 5 stars all day long

Infinity Hope Center made it easier to reach out and get in contact with the with the assistance I needed. All the staff I have spoken with have been incredibly professional and made me feel comfortable (getting to do the sessions from your home is a great bonus as well). Both Dr. Thompson and Susan Cox have been lovely and remarkable in helping me find a balance in my life again.
