A long time dream of Dean and Christi Heck, Lavender Oak Vineyard was established in 2010 as a family run operation. This means all wines are made in small batches, on our estate, with special attention to organic methods; no pesticides, herbicides or harmful chemicals. From harvest to bottling & labeling, each bottle is delicately and meticulously composed; a labor of LOV.

Services
Our Wines include the Estate Red Blend, Estate Pinot Noir and Estate Chardonnay. All wines are sourced 100% from our vineyard, then produced and bottled on site at our winery. We also offer a Pinot Noir sourced from the historic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard located down our bucolic Santa Rosa Road in the cool western end of the Santa Ynez Valley (Santa Rita Hills AVA).
When you first visit Lavender Oak Vineyard you are greeted by majestic oaks, fragrant lavender, and an abundance of flowers, all that enhance the LOV experience. In addition to our wine, we are proud to create LOV gifts that are an extension of who we are. Explore our candles, aprons, and more to find a token that reminds you of your visit to the vineyard.

Wonderful experience for a private tasting that felt like you were in a friends backyard. The house and property are beautiful and truly some of the best pino we tried, after trying some of the more commercial ones in the area. Best part was the repurposed wine bottles they make into candles as a souvenir, in addition to wine of course. Perfect experience and was a short 30 minutes from the Ritz Carlton SB! Thank you, Dean!

This place is a dream. You truly feel welcomed onto the family's home property as they share their passion for great wine with you. Feels like you are sitting in someone's backyard with a stunning view enjoying wine and good conversation (because you ARE). They invited us to walk around the property and take a look at their vines and sheep. So fun!

Dean sat down with us and served us 4 genuinely fantastic, French-style, very dry wines. This guy is producing some of the best Pinot Noir in the valley, and his Bordeaux blend is instantly enjoyable. A fine experience, and great conversation. For true wine lovers, you can’t get much better than this.

We had such a great visit and already want to come back! The property is absolutely stunning and the owners were wonderful hosts. It was an intimate experience where we sat down with Dean and learned about the history of their estate and all the grapes and lavender they grow. The wine is FANTASTIC. Also, bring your dogs!

Tasting wine in a rustic, intimate setting... a beautiful oak-shaded ranch, with charming hosts Dean and Christy Heck, is about as good as it gets. Their new estate Chardonnay is a must try...complex, floral and yet some oakiness from nearly 3 years in barrels.. The Red Blend is very nice, with a currant nose and flowing smooth finish...and their Sanford and Benedict Pinot is a classic Santa Rita Hills gem. We love the LOV wines!

We had an opportunity to attend a private tasting event with the owner pouring and attendees having an amazing time! The winds were delicious and pored well with brownies, meats, and tapas. I highly recommend trying a red and a white and enjoying the unique flavors. I can't wait to try to book them for another tasting event!
