Royal Oaks Winery

My husband & i came here months back on summer. If you haven't gone for a good wine tasting..this is the spot. I chose the fruity flavors it was so Delisiouse! Then we decided to get a glass of our own to drink😜.

We walked in and walked right out. Venue is below the attractive and cozy standard of other Solvang tasting rooms. Wines are very sweet and fruity, per the menu.

Loved our tasting this evening. Celia and Ryan made our tasting experience wonderful. Great way to begin our weekend in the winds country.

Brought my mom here as a birthday gift for some wine tasting and we loved it! My mom only loves sweet wine so I liked how this winery offered both a sweet tasting option and a dry tasting option. Jennifer was so great to us and very personable, we loved her! She described the wines to us and answered any questions we had. My mom loved the Honeysuckle Peach wine, so we even bought a bottle of it. The pricing for the tasting was great to, only $15 and they poured a great amount. Recommend this winery if you're in town and love sweet wines!

The vibe is amazing. The fruit Wine Tasting is delicious. Mimosa I recommend. The staff is awesome and super friendly and helpful. Best place for wine tasting.

Woman who does the wine tasting was down right rude. Poured the wine as if she was giving water to pigeons and what little she poured tasted like prison juice. Over priced cheap wine with rude service...sounds like a winner !

Royal Oaks is THE winery to go to for your dessert wine selection. The flights are tasty, the servers are very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and attentive to your experience. The chocolate bar has a great variety to choose from, as well as pairing with wine tasting. I highly recommend Royal Oaks for your weekend pleasures. Tell them Joni sent you. Cheers!

I am usually meh about wine but these fruit wines were delicious. Mayra was amazing as well and helped us with all the questions we had about wine club and everything else. We came with our pup and they had outdoor and some indoor seating available for us as well.

They do open at 12:30 sometimes instead of 12 though on slower days

Both the sweet and dry wines are superb. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Jennifer, the tasting room manager, is attentive and fun. I love going to Royal Oaks!

I'm actually not a huge fan of wine but I do try wine tastings here and there when I am on vacation. I have got to say that Royal Oaks Winery is my favorite thus far!

We stopped by here on our last day in Solvang last month and what sets this place apart from many others is that they have fruit wines! My husband and I decided to share one of the fruit wine tastings and it included:

Concord
Royal Strawberry
Boysenberry Royal
Blackberry Honey Royal

All of the wines were sweet since they were either made with fruit or mixed with fruit juices. I loved all the flavors! I ended

Best sweet wines hands down! The tasting room is the best the staff is hilarious and accommodating especially Jennifer! The non sweet wines are also good especially the cab so there’s a little for everyone!

My absolute favorite winery in Solvang. They're known for their fruit wines, and they are always just as delicious with each season. They have the best strawberry and blueberry wines. I always love to bring some home with me when they're in season.

Tastings at this winery are always enjoyable. Everyone treats you as if you're family. They currently have a wonderful outdoor seating area where you can enjoy delicious wine and take in the activity and scenery of Solvang.

A must stop while in Solvang.

I found Royal Oak Winery years ago when I discovered that they had Ollalaberry wine. Quite yummy!

Over the years my girlfriend Michelle and I have brought a number of people to Royal Oaks including Michelle's oldest daughter. Her daughter is a big fan and she joined her first wine club at Royal Oak.

Along with very unique and interesting wines, the wine manager Jennifer is a stand out in the industry. She has customer service down to a T! Jennifer really makes any visit to Royal Oak special. We pop in often just to say hi and she always has us leaving with a few bottles of wine as

Excellent fruit wines. I’m not big on the “Stella” wines so I didn’t think I would like these. Totally different taste. These tasted so good. I got the red/white flight and the wife got the fruity one. Both were excellent and if you like sweet wines this place is for you.

Jennifer and her staff treated us like family. We were in town for the weekend for my wife's birthday and truly got the Royal treatment from them. Fun environment definitely will be coming back the next time we are in town

Great wine collection. They have two tasting flights- one is fruit and another is white/red. If you are a person who likes semi-sweet to sweet wines, go for a fruit flight. Otherwise, the red/white flight is amazing and I personally loved that one. However, for or a summery kind of weather, fruit one will be amazing. These tasting flights aren’t that expensive also, Must try if you are in Solvang!!

The owner responded in typical robot fashion regarding our less then satisfactory visit. We most definitely will not return. Lastly, everyone we know will be told not to even bother coming to this business.

This place was a very a refreshing change and very happy to stumble upon it Jennifer our hostess was stellar she steered us to the best wine flight ever can't wait to come back again, her winery specializes in sweet wines Jennifer is the best, very friendly and knowledgeable made us feel very comfortable, she is awesome!! Wine! Chocolate! Fun! Oh my!!!
As a local, this is my go-to spot in Solvang. Jennifer, the manager, is always on her A-game. She knows my palate and her recommendations are consistently on-point. I had co-workers recommend Royal Oaks to me, and I've been a member since the first day I walked in the door. If you don't get to visit during your stay, you are REALLY missing out.

Came here as a recommendation from another winery in town and loved it! The gal who helped was super fun, helpful, and was a great host. She had the short hair cut, and definitely knew what she was talking about. We did the Fruit Wine Tasting and my boyfriend and I both agreed the Summer Apricot was our favorite. Definitely coming here again next time we're in Solvang and signing up for the wine club!

Lovely place. We loved it here. Didn't know chocolate and wine pairing was a thing. Came here to celebrate the weekend with my girlfriends and this was our first stop.

You select three chocolates of your choice and the nice wine lady pairs it up with the best wine she thinks it suits it.
All my wine and chocolate pairings were good.
I am now a fan of wine, thanks to this place. And their chocolates were amazing,.

My family has been buying these wines for 10+ years. Since I joined the wine club, this is the second bad bottle I've purchased. I called to ask about it and was told the manager was too busy and would call me back. I tried emailing. I have received no reply to either. When the wines are good, they are 5 stars.
