From the beginning to the end I felt immersed in the staff and Chefs vision. I was immediately relaxed with the dim lighting and warm decor. The staff was very polite and attentive and we also received a special visit from the chef who set up a special hand picked menu for us. Each dish had its distinctive handmade artisanal taste that stimulates the eyes, nose and mouth.
5 stars to Sfoglia and thank you for the experience.

We found Sfoglia when reading a novel, and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic. Food was great. We don't eat much. Read, but theirs was worth eating! Had the pork porterhouse and the pappardelle bolognese. Finished with the chocolate torte, and walked two miles back to our hotel very satisfied . Will definitely be back!

Great Italian Restaurant in UES! Always pass by here and decided to give it a try! Food are hit or missed!
Location: It is located at UES, lexington Ave. We made reservations cause it is always packed here! There is outdoor and indoor seating! The indoor is nice, quite dark. The outdoor is nice, feels like you are in Italy. Street parking available at the side
Service: OMG our server is nice. I noticed that she is in the elderly side, and I love that, it means that the restaurant does not discriminate! Thank you for that.
Food: Food here is hit or missed! BURRATA: this was my first Burrata

Would give five stars for the ambiance and service. The restaurant is a beautiful date spot inside and out. The service was also great with an inviting and attentive waitstaff. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the rest of this restaurant. The bolognese sauce tastes like chili and was drowning the pappardelle and the chicken they rave about is bland at best. The burrata and fettuccine saved what would have been a very mediocre dinner.

Such a cute little Italian spot on the corner! My Roomates and I pass this place all the time and was finally able to try it. The service is impeccable! Very attentive and friendly. The food was even better! We were satisfied with everything we ordered.

It's ok, but not the five-star restaurant many consider it to be, especially for the prices charged. In addition, the menu on Open Table is years old and the prices are no where near the prices today. Main Courses are about $10 Higher ($34 - 50) and side dishes about $7 higher at $16. Cocktails are $18, a nice cabernet was $17.
What happened to pride in appearance? The crystal chandeliers need serious cleaning, the entire top of the 3rd Avenue façade looks kind of ratty, the entrance is small and doesn't have a simple bench for patrons who must wait for their table to at least sit down, no tablecloths

Sfoglia is hidden on the corner of 92nd street and Lexington Avenue. It's mermaid green pastel colors complement the gold lettering that is visible from the outside and the restaurant's unassuming presence is highlighted by the opaque curtains running along the windows. However, the glimmering of the gold running along the name of the restaurant signals diners to know that there is a lot more waiting for them inside.
Once you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by the host/hostess who shows you to one of the ten or so intimate farmhouse tables. The decor is rustic but juxtaposed with

Super cute Italian restaurant in the UES! I came here with family but it would be a great date spot as well. Our waiter was really friendly and we didn't feel rushed at all.
Food was delicious!! We ordered a few appetizers and I got the pasta with eggplant which I really enjoyed. Highly suggest the key lime pie for dessert which tasted amazing.
Definitely on the pricier side but the food and ambiance are definitely worth it for a special occasion!

We came for an early dinner on a Sunday and there were a surprising number of people there. We started off with the appetizer sampler and then had entrees and dessert. I loved the burrata and sampler. The pasta agnolotti was very good although I am not sure I love smoked mozzarella. We then had the key lime pie for dessert. The atmosphere is very cute and intimate. The waiter was very courteous.
