Dr. Pidhajecky attended Emory University for his undergraduate studies, where he received his Bachelors degree in Biological Anthropology. He went on to attend the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). Following graduation from dental school, he was selected and completed a year long General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
A preventive program is a cooperative effort by the patient, dentist, and dental staff to preserve the natural dentition and supporting structures by preventing the onset, progress, and recurrence of dental diseases and conditions. Preventing dental disease starts at home with good oral hygiene and a balanced diet.
Regular dental check ups are essential for maintaining excellent oral hygiene and diagnosing potential problems, but they are not a "fix-all" solution. Thorough oral homecare routines should be practiced on a daily basis to avoid future dental problems. Periodontal disease (also called gum disease and periodontitis) is the leading cause of tooth loss in the developed world, and is completely preventable in the vast majority of cases.
Panoramic X-rays (also known as Panorex(R) or orthopantomograms) are wraparound photographs of the face and teeth. They offer a view that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye. X-rays in general, expose hidden structures, such as wisdom teeth, reveal preliminary signs of cavities, and also show fractures and bone loss.

Dr Pidhajecky and his staff are absolutely Fantastic! Not only being one of the most efficient Dentists I've ever been to but also the only Dentist who shows more customer/patient care than any other practice I've been to. Dr. Pidhajecky and his staff have picked up on problems with my teeth and gums that other Dentists have failed to do. Also the way the treat my children was as if they were his own. Great Dentist to go if you don't already have one, and if you do you should consider trying this practice anyway. Thank you Dr Pidhajecky and everyone in your staff for the wonderful patient care

Dr. Pidhajecky has been the best dentist for our family. Our very anxious 5 year old had to get 6 fillings and he didn’t even cry! He even asks when he gets to go back again. The office environment is very relaxed, the entire staff is very kind, and Dr. Pidhajecky is very professional and skilled. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I have been going to Dr. Pidhajecky for years and have always had a wonderful experience. He and his staff always provide the best care.
