It is also called "the Gibralter of the Pacific" and is probably the most famous peak. It was first sighted in 1542 by Juan Cabrillo. At one time it was surrounded by water. Quarrying was responsible for its shape, and rock from it supplied the breakwater for Morro Bay. It is now protected home for the endangered Peregrine Falcon.

Cute boutique hotel in Morro Bay! Great little room and ours had a kitchenette. I booked on Priceline and got a great price, too!

We stayed for the Thanksgiving holiday and loved our upstairs "apartment." What a wonderful view, just one block from all the happenings near the water. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The staff provide outstanding customer service. We really appreciated the full kitchen and fridge and dishwasher. Thank you, we expect to return in the future.

Great place to stay. Clean close to all shops and restaurants and even a nice bar around the corner.

Didn’t have long to stay here, but I would return… room was clean and comfortable, the little kitchenette was nice, and the price was right.
Only drawback might be that noise travels through the walls, but things were pretty quiet by 10:30 pm on a Friday

So quaint and clean. We had the family room with 3 beds. The beds are very comfortable. 1 king 1 full and 1 twin. Office staff are very friendly and helpful. They will make reservations for dinner or activities on the embarcadero. We are staying for 3 days and have reservations for our next trip also. Highly recommend to everyone.

Affordable inn/hotel just two blocks away from Morro Bay's harbor district. Pet friendly. We had a kitchenette room. Location is great. The room itself worked but was never that enjoyable. Even the kitchenette room is really small. The bed felt like an old spring mattress that was never particularly comfortable. Sheets were scratchy. This place would work great for a single person or a couple looking for a cheap place to stay as a basecamp for seeing everything else the area has to offer. Would not recommend for families or any party bigger than two people.

Staff friendly, room was cozy and clean! Dog friendly! Kitchen is small and cute, the bathroom is small just fyi. Also rooms do not have ac so if it gets stuffy then you must open windows, and windows do not have locks... but definitely nice place to stay for price. Ive stayed in area at different hotel and the bed was awful, here at pleasant inn it was cozy! Will come back to this hotel!

Stayed in room 3, nice and cozy room with a kitchen. Shower room is a bit small but ok for me. Kitchen is perfect, has most the kitchenware that you need to make a simple dinner.
Would love to stay again next time I visit Morro Bay.

This was the only motel I could find that had 3 beds in one room! There was a queen, a double and a twin... Just perfect for our extended family. And a big plus, it's only a short two blocks from downtown Morro Bay. Everything was so clean and groomed, also, the parking is right out front of the rooms. There was a handy charging hub near the TV too. Ariel was the attendant when we arrived and he took care of our requests for an additional bottle of water, a bottle opener and another coffee package and was very pleasant about it all. We'll stay there again.
