Services
Tinnitus is often described as a ringing in the ear and can range in severity. A tinnitus evaluation by a Doctor of Audiology, specializing in tinnitus, can help to identify the cause of your tinnitus, the impact on your life and discuss treatment options that can benefit you. During a hearing aid evaluation, Audiologist will discuss different hearing aid styles, colors, technologies and benefits.
If you are uninsured please let the receptionist know, we are willing to take special considerations and accommodate for your specific financial situation. For those patients experiencing symptoms of vertigo, unsteadiness, dizziness, and other balance disorders, your doctor may want to refer you for a videonystagmography (VNG) balance evaluation.

Awful. Beyond belief! Avoid this place. I went in for a hearing exam in early December 2021, referred by Aetna and a supervising company named Hearing Solutions. The doctor was fine but the office follow up was hideous. I ended up cancelling the order and starting over elsewhere. A few of the facts: Hearing devices were ordered from the ,manufacturer and conformed delivered by UPS on December 20. No word from The Hearing Doctor that they had been received. I phoned around January 10th. This office (in Culver City) claimed they never received the order. I had to make 3 calls to them and Hearing

I'm responding to the answer on my review. Here's the whole story. I was having a scratchy/static in one of my Resound hearing aids. I found the Hearing doctor online and called to tell them my problem. The receptionist stated that they would check it and clean it, etc for $45 but it might be $90 if they have to replace the wire. I thought that was a very reasonable price if it fixes it. They never said I needed an appt. I wasn't there to see the audiologist, only to drop off a hearing aid but once I got there the unfriendly receptionist said I wasn't in their system, duh

I called in and said I was experiencing static in one of my hearing aids. I was told that they could check it and clean it for$45 and if it needs a new wire it would be $95. I thought that sounded reasonable so a few days later I went in to a pretty unfriendly receptionist. Later that day they called and said I could pick it up. They said they changed the filter and cleaned it. (I have my own box of filters at home that are simple to change.). I took it home and the same problem persisted. I called back and was told I would have to send it back to Resound. After calling Resound I was told the audiologist

Will you ever be happy (and lucky) if you are fortunate to have Dr. Glicksberg as your hearing specialist!!! I had gone to a different audiologist and my hearing aids weren't quite right, but I thought that was the way they were supposed to be. I listen to a lot of music as I exercise. Well, I changed doctors to Dr. Miriam Glicksberg and am I ever thrilled! She masterfully used a number of different machines and PRESTO my hearing and music appreciation improved dramatically. Plus, she is delightful and a joy to work with. What a difference she made. I am SO happy I went to her. Lucky me!!!

Dr. Miriam Glicksberg was very patient, friendly and professional with my mother and I. She didn't rush and even stayed with us for part of her lunch hour to make sure my mother was taken care of. I really appreciated it. We left with great advice and a lot of knowledge we didn't have when we walked in. Thank you!

I wrote an honest review last time.. and they made a complaint to the lawyer of my friend called me unprofessional for sharing my experience in this place...
and she was afraid that she wasn't able to complete her next appointment so I was forced to delete my review.. which I think it's unprofessional for them to do that than apologizing.. (I wasn't the only person they kind of acted rudely too.. just look at previous 1 star review in the comment) maybe it's time to correct the assistant of the office... it's just the way they communicate is not professional... their doctors

Tinnitus Retraining Therapy is only for those who's hearing issue is only from hearing loss, which is extremely rare. If it had a root in your overall health, and could be from toxicity or disease in your body, this treatment won't work for you. And once you need the emotional support that Dr. Sal teaches you about for $400 per one hour session- he doesn't follow through with it and won't even reply to emails asking additional questions or for a little more support.

I went there to interpret for a patient. Doctor was very thorough with his consultstion. They have all the equipment needed in one place to do most tests that were at the time needed. The equipment looks a bit outdated but it seems to do the job. The patient mentioned that he had visited other places and no one had given him a very detailed examination. The Doctor took his time with patient and didn't make him feel rushed. I recommend this place.

I haven't even seen the doctor yet. I tried to make a appointment staff wasn't professional .(Janet) first she messed up my 1st appointment they didn't send me the address. I just searched on Google. It showed me same doctor different address. Then I tried to reschedule she was really mean act like she doesn't care I schedule new appointment or not.

I found Dr Marghzar on the Internet after having brain surgery to remove a brain tumor. Since having surgery, I'm suffering from tinnitus. It is awful.
Dr Marghzar has a very kind and sympathetic disposition. He explained my condition, as well as the entire process to me, very clearly. His staff is also very very nice. He has fitted me w/ two (nearly invisible) hearing aids (one for each ear), which help me hear better and retrain my brain to ignore the tinnitus. When he first explained this to me, it all seemed very "sci-fi", BUT IT WORKS!
Right now, my hearing is better than

My experience was lovely. The Doc was informative and really nice! He helped clean out my ear wax and get me on my way in about 30 minutes, and it was simply the best experience that I could have asked for. His advice was sweet and I am going to take his recommendation of not using Que tips ever again & also how to keep my wax at bay. YAY! I am very grateful. THANK YOU!

For 3 years I was suffering from what I found out was hyperacusis. I went to one ENT doctor and he said I should just get ear plugs and "hang on" since they were making big advances in that technology. Feeling desperate I went online and found that there was a method for treating it and I found Dr. Marghzar. He was able to cure what I thought was incurable and honestly saved my life. This was in 2011 and I haven't had a problem with it since then. I just thought of this recently and thought I would put up a Yelp review to thank him.

I have been suffering from tinnitus for as long as I can remember and have been to numerous hearing doctors and had a few MRIs done to my head to check for some abnormality causing the ringing and hearing loss. Every doctor has basically told me there was nothing to be done for the inexplicable hearing problems. I have begun to learn lip reading so when my hearing is completely gone I would be able to still communicate with people.
I recently decided I would give it another go and look for an audiologist to check my hearing again. I found a list of doctors in my network and searched each of them

This office and in particular, the front staff
is so very nice and goes the extra mile to help. I couldn't be more pleased I found them on Yelp.
My friend is 87yrs and her sister died,suddenly, out of state. I got her booked on the first flight, but her hearing aid cleaning wire couldn't be found and she couldn't put her battery in to hear.
So I checked Yelp to see what was close by
and called to see if they had what she needed. Not only did they have it, we didn't
have to waste a minute and they wouldn't
charge her, plus gave her an extra, just in case.
Now my friend

Dr Marghzar is a top specialist for tinnitus and hyperacusis. There is no-one in Los Angeles as qualified as he is for treatment of these issues. He has helped me recover my ear health with accurate information, effective treatment, patience, and true caring. Tinnitus and related issues can be extremely debilitating and there is much misinformation out there. Dr Marghzar is the only doctor I would ever recommend.

Such a simply and easy going appointment we had this morning!
I had found this office just by doing a yelp search and decided to go with The Hearing Doctor!
Our appointment was scheduled with Dr. Avila for my boyfriend to get some super water proof ear plugs for when he surfs. He's been unable to surf for a few months due to a hole he has in his ear drum.
Dr. Avila is so friendly and clear! This is an awesome plus! He's to the point and easy to understand.
We had a particular company of plugs we wanted to go with, but would have had to do the shipping ourself and wait a long time

Dr. Avila was very friendly. He communicated well and put me at ease. Recently, I was hit by a car and felt dizzy and my ears were blocked from the impact. The testing went smoothly, and he sent another doctor I was going to information she needed promptly. I also liked that he was personable with no pretenses.
