While I can’t speak for the bad reviews, I would like to give a first hand experience on what my husband and I experienced. I was notified by my job that we would be moving to Winston Salam at short notice, after searching several different committees this one was last on list, not because they were unattractive but because searching on apt finder they did not come up. Before we started our drive back home I decided to search google one last time, not expecting to actually find anything however we ran across this community. Let this be a warning to any clean person looking to move here. Do yourself a favor. Don't. Look thoroughly at the unit you're renting b4 signing. The photos speak for themselves. Mold, rotting wood & rust. Waiting for weeks to get this taken care of. And the silly part is only 1 person can help you if you have issues w/ your apt. Lol. An office full of Alaris employees but if the person who you initially worked w/ upon applying is out of the office, you get ZERO help. You're told to wait until that particular employee comes into the office. Now tell me if you want to deal w/ that ****?

The neighborhood gave us a very, very bad experience.
They mandated Bank of America's accounting records, but did not disclose them on their website. We, as international students, chose a house after we had paid the application fee.
But they tell us about the mandatory bank of America statement or find a guarantor.This is very unfair to international students. We are new to the US. We can provide the certificate of deposit for the visa, but they will not accept it. After we contacted the guarantor, they went back on their words and said that the qualification of the guarantor did not meet the

Horrible experience, I have been racial profiled here . They didn’t even disclose that there renters “ verification would go back seven years” apprently denied me for four late apartment payments 6 years ago lol but instead of just saying your African American so we don’t want to approve you they searched and searched for everything else . If your African American get a lawyer and don’t bother waisting your time

Although you may find mixed reviews about this place (as you will for pretty much every single thing out there) I wanted to throw our review and experience into the mix.
In short, Alaris Village is a lovely community. It's well maintained, friendly, and is gated too. As much as I'd want to say the gate never breaks down, there's always that one person

From my experience, dealing with Alaris as a potential tenant was not very good. I initially reached out as I’m in the process of relocating from a different state. However due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to postpone my move. After not being able to receive any call backs, I finally emailed through the website to let them know that I would not be able to conclude my search with them. The application process was disorganized and prolonged simply because no one would return my phone calls. After about 3 weeks of attempts to speak with someone over the phone and submitting my application

The location is very good since Target and Walmart are near by( walkable distance).They have plenty of parking even though there is no allocated parking spot for apartments. I have paid 850$ for 2 bed and 2 bath apartment.
It is very peaceful inside and apartments are well maintained. The windows are insulated so we don't feel too cold or too hot in the apartment.They always have one or other events in the leasing office.
I vacated the apartments before my lease. They

I have lived here for 6 months now and the staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious and have nice appliances, my neighbors are very friendly, the pool is great, and maintenance responds pretty quickly to requests. The only downside to living here is that they do not take recycling outside of cardboard, so we have to take our other recycling elsewhere. This can sometimes cause the dumpster for cardboard recycling to be overfilled, leading people to leave items around it on the sidewalks. If we could recycle all items at this apartment complex, it would be there perfect place to live

I informed them via email and personally as well way ahead of time to vacate the apartment. I have email proof and they are adamant about that their one page form with three questions was not turned in so I owe them $879.
