Welcome to Thrive Chiropractic Yoga Therapy ~ Neurofunctional wellness care in a cozy, relational setting. Chiropractic serves the body to improve neural coordination and communication, optimizing function and full life expression. Yoga Therapy engages foundation, structure, mindfulness, motion and breath to bring the individual to new levels of self awareness in body and being.

Both meet the fullness of who we are, emanating from source, proactively enhancing vibrant health, grounding our well-being. Dr. Lal Kerr honors the wisdom of the body in an evolutionary approach to modern health care and engages health and healing from a "whole Being" perspective.
Services
Dr. Lal Kerr engages health and healing from a "whole Being" perspective. She discovered chiropractic through yoga, the practice of uniting body, mind and spirit. As yoga integrates the core of our physical being and the seat of our consciousness, principled chiropractic offers a similar opportunity.
In your 90 minute initial visit session, we review your history and your health goals, conduct a chiropractic physical exam and neurofunctional assessment, and deliver care tailored to our findings. Typically we include both an adjustment and customized assisted yoga activities. Let us gather your insurance policy information on our webform and we can check the details about your coverage.
If you hold a secondary policy, please complete the insurance webform twice with the separate details from the primary and secondary policies. We can accept cash, check and charge at time of service. We can also electronically invoice you, so you can pay from home at your convenience to save time at your visit.
Dr. Lal works with the body's three-dimensional form as an expression of neural function. A person's posture and structural architecture reflects the physical, chemical, emotional and mental experiences and well-being of that individual. All of these components of our being are brought together by and mediated through the nerve system, the physical and electro-chemical conduit for consciousness.
Since emerging from her academic experience and stepping into clinical practice, Dr. Lal has considered the chiropractic adjustment of subluxation as a form of yoga. The root of the word yoga connotes a joining together, "to yoke, " connecting the body-mind-spirit. D.D. Palmer, the founder of chiropractic in the late 19th century said, "The purpose of chiropractic is to unite man the physical with man the spiritual."

My wife went to GL over several sessions when she had her office in Eugene. She was awesome. Her style of chiropractic therapy is not what you think of when you hear the word chiropractor. My wife described it as gentle and subtle but the results were impactful. Highly recommend her care over several visits.

Lal is such an amazing healer! She totally helped me with a stiff neck and back. She also gave me lots of great advice for personal care to heal myself.

I see there is a consistent phrase in describing Dr. Lal with Thrive "I dont know how she does it!" I came in with extreme back pain -- barely able to sit or walk. Within 2 sessions, Dr. Lal had me pain-free and moving again. My muscles has tightened so extremely, and she was able to release them without the standard cracking approach. I also learned how to think about my posture differently, so I hope to avoid this extreme back-pain experience again. 5-stars!

As a mental health therapist I know how our physical well being is connected to our mental health. I was excited to see a chiropractor who does not use violent adjustments but works gently with the body to help the different parts of the body "talk" to one another. I left the session with Lal feeling more alive all over. I appreciated that she helped me notice certain areas of my body that were out of alignment and gave me ways I could work with them on my own. Her touch was healing. Overall a very good experience!

Dr Lal's chiropractic healing session left me feeling light, aware and engaged in life. With gentle forces and helpful verbal cues she brought awareness to my body posture which allowed for a change in habitual holding patterns. I feel that I was able to release many mini traumas that I have stored in my body through the years. I would highly recommend Thrive to anyone that wants quality care.

I have been around the block with many chiropractors, massage therapists and acupuncturists in this town. We have some great healers.
Thrive is definitely in the top 1% of best in Eugene. Dr Lal uses light force and I don't know how she does it but I leave with a new more expansive body every time. My neck is pain free (and it's been years since I have been able to say that).
I also learn different ways to breath and hold my body, different ways to move. She takes her time and it is phenomenal.
