Services
Carolina Complete Psychiatry, PLLC is proud to serve the needs of children, adolescents and adults for outpatient psychiatric care. Services are provided by certified physician assistants. Physician assistants are able to provide evaluation and medical treatment for psychiatric conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and ADHD.
The Charlotte office of Carolina Complete Psychiatry, PLLC is located within a multi-tenant office building with plenty of parking on both sides of the building, as well as in a parking deck, that will provide you with both comfort and discretion. The building is open during normal business hours. If your appointment is scheduled for after 5PM, please call the office and someone will let you into the building.
Carolina Complete Psychiatry is currently accepting new patients over the age of 5. Please call us to schedule your first appointment. Prior to your arrival, we ask that you print and complete the New Patient Packet and a Release of Information for your therapist and primary care provider if applicable.
Mental health first responders for individuals or groups who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Available 24 hours/365 days a year. They offer emergency psychological assessment, immediate intervention for individuals, family and community crisis events. Division of the National Institutes of Health (U.S. government health research) that focuses on research about mental illness and mental health issues.

Rachel Holzhauer and her colleagues provide high level care which is accessible in a timely manner as well as the right balance of knowledge, compassion and skill. I have never left a negative review, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend Carolina Complete Psychiatry. As family of a patient, we have experienced a high degree of judgment as well as a surprising lack of compassion from both provider and staff right from the start. It is difficult to get past the front desk staff to receive answers to either medical or administrative questions from your provider. On several occasions the staff has said, "I know from experience this is what the provider would say", even if you ask specifically that the provider be consulted or left a message on a matter of importance

As a provider it is important for me to send my patients to another provider that can do professional work, in a timely and courteous manner. I highly recommend Complete Psychiatry due to those qualities. The number one reason I would recommend this practice is that they can also schedule their patients quickly with flexible hours.

I highly recommend Carolina Complete Psychiatry. From the start I have been well taken care of. Cassie the office manager is easy going and helps calm the first time nerves. Both Dr. Rachel and Dr. Lindsey are easy get along with and are down to earth. They spend ample time with their patients and ensure that all questions have been answered. They are quick to answer after hours questions.
The location is convenient and there is plenty of parking.

I moved back to Charlotte a couple years ago and was concerned about finding a new practice considering my doctor in Charleston had been such a blessing. Rachel is a wonderful Psychiatrist. She cares about the patient and what they are going through. Unlike most mental health care professionals in my own personal experiences, she isn't in it for the money. She genuinely wants to make sure you are doing well. She is lighthearted and has an amazing staff. Very thorough and flexible, as well as easy to talk to.
