Services
Capital Kids Dentistry provides comprehensive dental care to children from the time their first tooth erupts through college. Comprehensive care is about caring for the whole mouth, not just the teeth. Our goal is to build a positive relationship with your children and teach them successful oral health practices.
Dr. Chi-Lan Pham grew up in Northern Virginia and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Virginia. She comes from a family of dentists and followed the path of her father, uncle, and brother to Howard University College of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.
Capital Kids Dentistry provides preventive care that helps to head off dental issues before they arise. The goal of preventive care is to keep teeth and gums as healthy as possible. Preventive care ensures your child has a healthy mouth and teeth and can also help to lower the costs of dental care over the course of a lifetime.
Our pediatric specialists provide a variety of restorative and cosmetic services to treat dental concerns in a minimally invasive manner that ensures the greatest possible comfort for your child. Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is a conservative approach to active dental decay and can be used to help prevent dental cavities from forming or spreading to other teeth.
The miracle we've both been waiting for is here: Solea. Now available to you, Solea is a dental laser that replaces the dental drill in the majority of procedures in our practice. In fact, nearly every patient skips anesthesia because they just don't need it. Solea is our way of keeping you and your child happy.

Capital Kids Dentistry is a wonderful practice -- excellent care, all staff are highly professional and warm, and very efficiently run. The post-visit consultations we get from the dentists are always really clear and helpful. And we love the office's bright and festive modern decor. No joke, our girls look forward to coming to see Dr. Jessica and Dr. Pham and their top-notch hygienists twice a year, have never had a difficult experience, and in the interim they remember the date of their next appointment! And Jasminn, Wenona and the rest of the front desk crew are so friendly and helpful. Parking

Amazing! There’s no other place I’d take our children. Professional, comforting with the kids, thoughtful, knowledgeable and all the things you want in a kids’ dentist. We’ve had cleanings and cavities filled both were painless and quick.
Every single person I’ve interacted with has been helpful and friendly. We’ve been going here for 6 years (we actually took a short break for 6 months because our insurance changed but I decided to return anyway - the other dentist we saw was good but not capital kids level good).

We had a great visit with Dr. Jessica yesterday - we barely had to wait in her cheery waiting room, her friendly staff put my twin 5 year olds at ease instantly, and we felt well cared for throughout. We've never had such an easy trip to the dentist! A big bonus was the ease of street parking. I highly recommend Dr. Jessica and Capital Kids Dentistry!

I took my 19-month old daughter to Capital Kids Dentistry for her first appointment. The front office staff greeted us warmly and were very helpful. Dr. Jessica and her team made my daughter feel very comfortable, and we had a great visit! I'm happy to have Dr. Jessica as my daughter's dentist, and we can't wait to go back in six months for our next visit.

My four and two year old children wouldn't even open their mouths at their last dentist appointment, so I was ready for further drama when I brought them in (for the first time) to Capital Kids Dentistry.… Instead, Dr. Jessica and the whole team put them at ease from the beginning and even got my four year old to do x-rays! I was astonished! Keep up the good work.

We had our second visit to Dr. Jessica this morning, and we again had a great experience. My daughter (5.5 yrs) was so excited to return to her "favorite dentist" this morning, and while she was a little apprehensive about the teeth cleaning at first, Dr. Jessica put her at ease and made it fun! My son (2.5 yrs) was a little more resistant, but Dr.… Jessica is armed with the strategies, know-how, composure, and friendly bedside manner to handle even the littlest patients. She is really amazing with kids, and I'm so happy that we found her! I also appreciate her "parent education" efforts

We were lucky enough to get referred to Dr. Jessica following an emergency. She developed a great rapport with our 5 year old immediately and used humor and gentle coaching to make her comfortable. I drive an inordinate amount of time for her talent, time and kid-friendly coaching. And we love Stephanie!!
