David Clark, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Whether you are in a relationship or single, your happiness and success are paramount. With more than nine years experience serving couples and individuals in a variety of capacities, I offer perspectives aimed to help couples and individuals regain trust and improve communication that can be hindered by issues of trauma, infidelity, addiction, guilt, shame, anxiety, depression, oppression, and disparity.

I believe it is important for you to work with someone who diligently works to ensure each person's voice is heard in an unbiased and non-judgmental space. My perspective stems from my own experience with disparity, trauma, and the effects of macro- and micro-aggressions.
Services
We all have different starting points, and no one is better than the other. That is why individual counseling and couple counseling can be helpful for a variety of clients who face a variety of issues. For some, what we learned growing up works well in adulthood. For others, what once worked no longer does, and may have consequences we weren't expecting.
Naturally, most folks face a variety of issues in relationships. It is in your current relationship that all of the past experiences are worked through. You want to know if your partner is available to you, that your partner hears and understands you, is patient, and meet you where you are at without judgment.
Our cultural definition of masculinity limits the experience of men. As a guy, you are told you must be confident at all times, for others to see you as a pillar of strength. It takes a lot of work to keep up the image, and it hurts to think you could fall short of expectations. Yet, you know the people you love want more than an image.
