I sincerely enjoyed living here, but now that I make more money and I'm not right out of college I'm excited to move somewhere nicer. It's definitely not a bad place, but it's older and more basic. I think it's a decent deal (2100/mo for 2bed 2bath) but definitely looking for an upgrade now. I'm writing this review after living here for 2 years.

I have lived here going on 2 years and I love it here. Anytime I have any issue (which is rare!) - its addressed immediately. We have the best maintenance guy (you rock Alex)! He goes above and beyond for everyone, and is also a great person, and neighbor! We also have the best leasing manager here, Jasmine is professional, courteous, and responsive - and also just an overall good person. Honestly I have lived in San Diego for 6+ years and have rented from 3 places including here - and this has been the best overall experience I have had here. Thanks Mesa Vista Team - we appreciate all you do!

This small community is beautifully maintained by our Wonderful maintenance worker Alex. Whenever an issue arises he is quick to respond and his Hard work is outstanding! The Management staff Jasmine is easy to talk to and very friendly the office is always neat and tidy and there's always complimentary beverages for guests. I love living here, and look forward to living here for many years to come!

Mesa Vista apartments are gorgeous. The units looks very nice inside out, well taken care of. Inside the apartment theres plenty of space in the kitchen, living room, and restrooms not to mention bedrooms has plenty of space with walking closet.Im very please and satisfying to rent one of the units.The area is nice and quiet. Theres planty of stores around the area, schools are nearby walking distance, and plenty of shopping centers and restaurants around. This area is amazing. You have to see it to believe it. The staff are very nice and pleasant, specially Lorraine who had help me through out

I'm basing this review on the pre-approval process I have encountered with the manager, Lorraine, as I have not moved in yet. One thing I can definitely attest to is Lorraine's great attitude and, most of all, her willingness to work with me despite the infractions I had on my credit.
Most other places I've encountered in the past have given me less than favorable feedback and have even denied me without trying to find out my situation. Lorraine actually cared to know my situation and gave me a chance. If she is compassionate from the start despite the fact I have not moved in

Lorraine has been wonderful when we met her. Compared to our old apartment manager (place we are moving from) she is way more involved with our needs/requirements. She is attentive and takes care of business. When she says she will send something out, she sticks to her word.
She has a positive personality, and she Carries herself very professionally.
Best way to contact her is via email. She usually responds within 30 minutes to a couple hours (during business hours).

Ive lived here with my two children for the past two years and I have to say we really like it here. The location is pretty great as we are a stone's throw away from the 163 and the 805. My biggest concerns when apartment shopping were cleanliness, safety, and serenity and this place has all three. There were other complexes closer to Point Loma that I was interested in moving into but I carefully read countless reviews and a consistent problem was roaches. However this place did not have one bad review for any type of pests. I have not seen one cockroach in two years time in my apartment

Simply put, Lorraine made the move to this great complex stress free and streamlined, especially coming from out of the area. Beautiful pool, lots of laundry, large 2 bd/ 2 ba, and an extremely convenient location all add up to this being our new home. I would recommend Mesa Vista to anyone moving to SD.

Just moving in and already in love. As a military family, we didn't have a lot of time to plan for our move to San Diego. Lorraine was SO helpful and accommodating to our needs! We're excited to explore the area but so far, the pool and community areas are so well-kept, the apartment was so clean when we arrived. Super friendly, welcoming! We're exciting to be living here.

I have lived here for a year and a half and I will renew my lease as long as I can! This is a great community. It's everything you look for in an apartment: nice and quiet, good neighbors, and facilities that are in good shape. This apartment is mostly working families, many with multiple generations, with a few student groups rooming together. The community rules are generous and fair, and with excellent construction, you rarely are aware that you have neighbors. Noise or other disturbing activity has never been an issue my whole time here.

I just moved in to mesa vista apartments in January 2017. I have had nothing but a wonderful experience so far. They are situated in North Linda vista right near the 163 freeway and central to everywhere in San Diego. The apartment complex is clean, quiet and the pool and laundry facilities are well-maintained. Bedrooms are large and the walk-in closets are a bonus.
Alexis the complex manager is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, she's a gem! The only maintenance issue I had upon move in was a stuck closet door which was solved within 24 hours.
The prices here are very affordable compared

Pros of living here for the past 20+ years:
-safe, quiet, and clean apartment complex
-our current handy-man Matt is a prized gem! He always fixes anything that's worn down or needs replacement and all with a genuine smile on his face
-the manager is also very approachable and seems to take great pride in making sure the upkeep of the complex is current
-there have been many renovations over the years such as a fresh paint to the outside of our living areas, updated patio areas with a metal fence instead of wood, new underground water pipes, updated pool area with nice lounge chairs and tables

I have been living here almost a year now and I have been extremely happy with everything this apartment complex has to offer. All of my neighbors are friendly and respect noise levels. The laundry facilities are up to date and always clean. The management and maintenance man are always quick to respond to anything we need fixing with no extra costs. Overall a great find for the cost.

I really am impressed with there management at Mesa Vista Apartments. It's a very affordable, clean, quiet community. The location is excellent for me, I can hop on the freeway in a matter of a couple minutes and get to my destination fairly quickly. Management and maintenance staff provide excellent customer service, they are very professional and interact with resident in a very genuine manner.

I don't even know where to begin. There was no notice when new management came in. The new management lags when replying to emails, that's if they even reply at all. They give no notice for changes done around the complex, "notice" signs are posted day of. They must not know that California is in a drought because they seem to think its okay to water the grass three times a day. The grass is growing so much they mow it every week.
