Generally, a reasonable location (lots of walkable amenities) and great staff...however, beware, they will rip you off on your departure. They will come up with unjustified charges (carpet cleaning, apartment cleaning, etc.) no matter how good of condition you leave it. They "inspect" the unit after you have moved so you are not there to refute it...and hold your credit report hostage threatening "turning over to collections" when you are now out of state. I did not even get the courtesy of a returned phone call from Gabrielle, the property manager, to explain the charges. Beware. Left me with

I have lived in the Maverick apartments for 2 years. Apartment building secured good except the garage area, where anybody could have access into the building. Staff who work in the office are very rude except the property manager. I also paid high deposit when I moved in and upon the moving out I got charged for the stuff that were not broken or high amount for the cleaning and repairs.

Seedy neighborhood, lots of break-ins, management is focused on trying to get people to sign a lease but refuse to address obvious lapses in safety. Non-residents frequently enter the building via parking garages, then have access to the entire building, including all floors. Don't be fooled by the nice veneer, pay attention to the number of 1-star ratings. Look elsewhere, you'll thank me later.

This place is awful!!The staffs are rude and my boyfriend made appointment to tour the apartments and when he came there after 2 hours of ride the staffs told him there are no available apartments! This unbelievable!! It was just waste of time because he had off from work to go this complex!! Not suggesting this complex!!

The apartment itself is very nice. But Jesus the staff are just about the rudest people you will encounter. Once they get you to sign a lease they just want you out of their office. Your deposit? Forget about EVER getting that back. Save yourself the trouble and continue looking elsewhere. If you don’t cough up the $100 parking fee a month you’ll be parking a mile away because there’s no where else to park

The actual apartments are very nice. All the staff with the exception of Mack, Lupe and Brittany is rude. They don’t care. They just don’t. Outside is sketchy, so if you have a dog you need to walk, I would be wary. Homeless screaming at themselves and drug deals happening everywhere and the apartment cannot do anything about it since it’s city property. Hard to find parking, unless you pay a crazy amount for parking garage. Bogus, inflated charges upon move out.

After our 13month lease, we made the decision to move somewhere cheaper in the area. We were sad to leave the maverick because it truly was the best apartment complex I have ever lived at! The staff and Pillar team is so amazing! The office and maintenance team are so friendly and always smiling! They are so so nice, caring, thoughtful, and fun! We loved all of the amenities, location, and our apartment. Our apartment was new and stylish and had a great view of Mt. Rainer! If you are looking for an apartment in Burien, and can afford it, this is the place to be, without a doubt!

After living here over a year there is no other place I would rather call home. The amenities are top notch, the gym is spectacular, and the entire staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful people you will ever meet. The view is absolutely breathtaking. With a full view of Mt. Rainer, the ability to watch planes land and takeoff with virtually no noise from them, being a walk across the street from countless amazing bars and restaurants, and walking distance to the beach, a 15 minute drive to Seattle and Bellevue both, there is no better location than the Maverick. I really enjoyed the customer service and support from Emma, She carried herself with professionalism and had the best attitude ever. She displayed that she cared about my needs really took the time to listen and provided relevant information. Because of the way that Emma treated me i recommend the Maverick to anyone and everyone :)

Clearly an amazing up & coming location with soo many food options nearby. But, what makes this place amazing is the staff. From maintenance to everyone in the office; they're so helpful and friendly. I've lived here since day one of opening and I really don't see myself ever needing to leave. I mean just look at that view most of us have!

Absolutely . I love living here ! My kitten managed to slip out without me noticing and they found her . The office emailed out to everyone to figure out where Chewy belonged . When I saw the email I went straight to the office . I found that they had fed her, gave her some cat toys and had a little litter box . She was safe and happy . What I have found is that the office staff goes out of their way to make living here comfortable and exceptional . I really appreciate it . #246 😊

So far, so good! Having moved in at first opening, things are shiny and brand new. The staff of Tatiana, Dante' and Shanae' (sorry if I massacred the spelling) is top notch and above and beyond friendly! Units are quiet, well-appointed and spacious and common areas are well kept. So glad I found The Maverick!
