Foundation Counseling
Life can be difficult and frustrating, but you don't have to manage it alone and it doesn't have to stay that way. Are you struggling with relationships, job stress, intimacy, self-esteem, or family dynamics? If you're ready for something different, therapy can help. Our sessions together depend on your unique needs and desires.

The therapy process begins with getting acquainted, establishing goals, and identifying obstacles. Individual counseling offers time and space for support, personal reflection, practicing new skills, and collaborative problem solving. Couples counseling provides an opportunity to strengthen communication skills, rebuild trust, and deepen connection through friendship and intimacy.
Services
One of the keys to therapeutic success lies in the foundation of the relationship between therapist and client. I believe that work done in therapy is courageous and I feel honored to be a part of each client's therapeutic process. Struggles in these relationships (or in forming them) are often a source of discontentment and pain.
Whether you're struggling with everyday life, dealing with painful loss, or encountering more severe mental health issues, therapy can provide you with genuine support and reflection. Seeking out therapy can be a challenging process, but the act itself demonstrates your desire to access support in a meaningful way.
Lifelong partnerships include plenty of ups and downs, struggles and triumphs. During particular times of strain, it can be helpful for an objective person to identify and problem-solve what isn't working. People are creatures of habit - it can be difficult to see what patterns in your partnership are causing distress.
Many couples want or need some extra support in creating their ideal marriage. It can be hard to know what a successful marriage even looks and feels like. For some couples, the time leading up to a wedding can be filled with merging family dynamics and financial stress. These stressors have a silver lining: they offer an excellent opportunity for growth and change.
If you'd like to use insurance to cover your individual therapy sessions, I am in-network with First Choice Health (which includes Kaiser) and Premera (which includes Blue Cross Blue Shield and Anthem). For all other insurance plans, I would be considered an out-of-network provider. My services are often covered in part by your health insurance, but I encourage you to call your insurance provider and ask questions.
