Trusted House Services
Trusted House Services is owned and operated by the Davis Family. Every member has been involved in the company's success in one way or another including our two children, who can be found laminating marketing materials and filling our Realtor office candy jars. Owner and Operator Mark Davis has worked in a variety of related fields including environmental engineering, construction engineering and as a licensed Home Inspector.

You will not find an individual with a more rounded resume to successfully manage the intricacies of inspecting one of the largest investment you will make. As a certified InterNACHI(R) Inspector, if we miss anything, they'll buy back your home! The home must be listed with a licensed real estate agent.
Services
Don't let thousands of dollars-worth of necessary repairs go undetected prior to closing on your new home.

THS will conduct a visual inspection of accessible systems and components of the home including: electrical systems, plumbing, roofs and attics, gutters and drainage, walls, floors and ceilings, patios, air conditioning systems, plumbing fixtures in kitchens, baths and laundry room, washer & dryer, kitchen appliances, water heaters, a representative sampling of lights and receptacles, a representative sampling of windows and interior doors, exterior doors and a visual inspection for possible termite, mold and moisture damage.
Mold presence and damage is a common occurrence in Southwest Florida properties. This is in part due to the consistently high levels of humidity, elevated temperatures, poor ventilation and water incidents. Trusted House Services offers mold testing that includes: visual inspection of property, lab test (through an accredited third party), lab sampling, lab report and a visual report.
Wind Mitigation Inspections (Wind Mit.) look for construction features that have been shown to reduce losses in hurricanes, such as a hip roof, concrete block construction, the presence of gable end bracing, shutters and opening protections, the presence of single or double roof straps, and the presence of a secondary water resistance barrier.
A vacant home is at risk of break-ins, weather damage, mold, water damage and pest infestation. Identifying these events quickly is imperative to mitigating remediation expense. Trusted House Services will conduct weekly (or bi-weekly) visits to your home to visually inspect your property for these defects, and much more.
Supervise contractors and provide a brief report on work performed including photos of the completed work. Vehicle which sit for prolonged periods of time without driving can experience issues. Simply starting the vehicle is not the same as physically driving it to help avoid dead batteries, flat spotted tires and a variety of other issues associated to a car that sits unused for a significant period of time.

If you need a home inspection done, look no further. Mark was incredibly professional, prompt, and thorough during the entire inspection process, and took great care in providing us with detail and information on every part of the process. He also has an amazing network of specialists that can cater to any need that may arise. We couldn't have asked for a better inspector. Don't bother with any other company - it doesn't get better than Trusted Home Services.
