Worst practice ever! I have been calling to get an appointment set since September. They went back and forth at least 5 different times because they kept getting the insurance card wrong. When we finally got an appointment set after 2 and a half months of this running around, half an hour before our scheduled virtual appointment, I received a call claiming that they have no insurance on file and that I will be paying $175 out of pocket. I called again and we resolved right at the appointment time just to be told, sorry you will have to reschedule! My family will never be dealing with this unprofessional

Had a wonderful first session but when I tried to follow up as asked via phone... lets just say good luck getting anyone to answer. 7 attempts, 2 hours accumulative on hold, and 3 pick up hang ups on the provider's end. It very discouraging for your mental health provider to not be available to contact during business hours. I have even changed my lunch hour to call during different times during the day but its always the same no answer/no care situation. There isnt even an option to leave a message to be called back. I really thought this one was different but after this 3rd PU/HU I'm at the end

They had 1 job. Medication management and they cannot seem to submit the refills. The voice mail message says stay online and the answering service will connect you with a doctor. We'll, no they won't. They told me for medicine to contact during office hours. If the doctor had done his job, I wouldn't be in this situation. Best Day had 1 job: medication management. Best Day has failed 2 times now.
The service also told me to go to ER.
The instructions to take my 8 year old son to an ER during a Pandemic is beyond belief. He canniot be vaccinated and the ERs are full of COVID-19 cases.

I was honest about trauma and substance abuse issues on my paperwork and I was assigned a PA that couldn't handle either. The PA was a lovely person but was not qualified to treat me. What I put on paperwork did not matter and I never saw an actual psychiatrist. I wouldn't recommend this organization.

By far the worse experience I've had. You will be rushed through your appointment. Provider will clock watch while listening. They'd rather I fill out paper work during my appointment. It feels they are more about getting your money then actual patient care. I told them I will no longer see them after poor service. Instead of cancelling my next appointment they decided to charge me for a missed appointment. Took over 3 months to get the charge taken off because billing department does not work directly with office. Even the billing customer service department was poor. I was told "Maybe it was

The counselors and psychiatrists are great, but the billing department is horrible. They called me less than 10 minutes before my appointment demanding I pay them $34.44. I tried to tell them I didn’t have copays, my deductible had been met but they insisted it was a copay. I told them Medicare didn’t have copays so they changed it to it was a 20% payment. I tried to explain that I had supplemental insurance to cover what Medicare didn’t and that they had this information, nope, if I didn’t pay right then I didn’t get to meet with my therapist. I got it straightened out and I was correct

I have been going to Best Day for about a year and I can say its a wonderful place to go! The receptionists are very helpful and the therapists employed genuinely care about the well being and mental heath of their patients. Of course everyone's experience will be different, but they give you all the opportunities at finding individualized avenues to the help you need. They know a lot of local resources and Melissa gave me a list of therapy groups in the Raleigh area to help me gain more support. All of the staff have been very kind and truly make you feel welcome. They also respect your personal

Been going here for about 6 months now. Front desk folks are always friendly and helpful. I look forward to chatting with them whenever I'm checking in. Alex has been an amazing counselor/therapist. She's very open minded and brings a lot of resources and knowledge to our discussions. I'd recommend checking this place out if you're looking for counseling services.
