NOTE: If a legal guardian is to accompany the patient, please notify our office prior to patient's appointment so that we can discuss what documentation is required at the time of the visit. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require 24-48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule appointment.
Your child will receive a comprehensive eye exam, which includes dilation (opening of pupils) by using eye drops. Dilating the pupils helps the doctor get a clear view of the inside of your eyes and to properly examine the health of the optic nerve and retina. There is no additional fee for dilation, and it is included in a thorough eye examination.

Dr. Young is friendly and caring. He and his staff happily greeted us upon arrival. He is great with the kids and takes the time to talk with them. He also took his time to explain to me my son's diagnosis and answered every question I had without feeling like he was rushing me to get to the next patient. We are so glad to have been referred to him!

The staff is awesome and Dr. Young is the best! He really takes the time to make sure the child is comfortable and made going to the eye doctor fun for our little girl! He answered all of our questions, took his time to talk story with us and educate us on what was going on with our child and what we needed to do moving forward. Overall great experience with everyone we encountered. I’ve heard great things about him and his staff and after experiencing it ourselves, it couldn’t be more true!

A genuinely warm hearted doctor who is so good with children. My son is fortunate to have Dr Young as his eye doctor! The staff is amazing and friendly. Dr Young always took the time and made sure we understood a diagnosis, or a procedure, and answered all of our questions. Never had to wait long for a room, and never felt rushed. Praises to the office staff for running a smooth experience. Mahalo!
