THIS PLACE IS A VIBE OKAY??
The bartender Sam, was such a sweet guy! He gave great wine recommendations to my friend and was so polite and friendly (with a sense of humor too!).
The FOOD? *chef's kiss*
I can't even pronounce what we ordered, but it was like a basil pasta with mozzarella balls + tomatoes (my friend added salmon to her order). I also got the mushroom flatbread appetizer which was DELICIOUS and we finished the night with the chocolate mousse cake (ALSO delicious)
They still had Christmas decor on the ceiling which I found incredibly endearing for some reason.

The experience was disappointing We went because the reviews were good so we figured why not we had never been to the restaurant before I called a few days ahead because we had a party of 15 I told him that it was a meet up group when I made the reservations. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because maybe they were just short staffed it was only 3 people there the owner the bartender and the cook and we had a party of 15 so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt but it's no excuse we were given spoil Creamer for the coffee. He replaced it with some new Creamer and bought

I went to this place on Christmas Day simply because it was the only restaurant open in the area. They were operating on a different menu (Pre-fixed 3 course) that I saw online and it was very expensive. Because the place seemed to have good reviews I didn’t mind it much. I went with my family of 8 ordered to bottles of wine and our meals. The food was very tasty however the portions were very minimal. Everything was going well until I received my bill. The bill came out to over $800 dollars. Now mind you I’m aware of the pricing so it’s not that I don’t want to pay however for what I ordered

We came here with the family Saturday early afternoon. They had their brunch menu out, which was super difficult to choose from. Although it was "strictly the brunch menu," we were told by what appeared to the owner/manager that he could make anything for us from any menu if we saw something we would like better. He was so kind and attentive to us! I had the crab cakes Benedict and it was delicious. It was not busy and service was great, don't pass this place up!

Food is out of this world amazing. Some favorites include the santorini shrimp, calamari and mushroom flatbread. Also the complimentary house bread is unreal.
The outdoor seating is adorable. The service is phenomenal - can't say enough great things about this place.

This is my favorite date night spot. If you’re in a rush, under dressed, or just looking for a great place to eat I HIGHLY recommend. Service 10/10 was only there long enough to order and the food immediately followed. All of the appetizers are incredible I recommend the lamb, calamari, bruschetta, and the steamed muscles. It really is all amazing.

Basil's was such a hidden gem! I came here with a group of 9 girls for Sunday brunch and there was no rush when we got there. Parking was easy to find on the street. There was also onsite valet for free (except for tips).
It was quiet when we got there at 11:30, but was loud and lively by 2pm when we left. Service was friendly, but the waiter was a bit too friendly with some girls in the group (hands on girls shoulders, bending down super close to talk).
I had the salmon bagel platter. It was $14 I believe. For that price, I was expecting a nice homemade bagel, but this one seemed store

Honestly, I was far from impressed. I didn't expect my children's plates to be anything special but for an upper 30 or lower 40 dish, I expect a certain level of quality and not just a certain level of ambience. I ordered some sort of kabob that included a chicken skewer, I think a beef skewer, and a small Lamb chop.
I didn't think that the flavors were anything special, and I was not particularly impressed by the plate. I certainly didn't think that it warranted the price tag.
This was underscored when we ordered dessert. The waitress mistakenly brought me tiramisu which, granted, I'm already

Despite having a lovely server and meal, when our check arrived to our table, we were alarmed to see that there was a note telling us, for the first time, that should we wish to pay by charge card we would be charged an extra 4% of our total bill! This would be in addition to the tip we would add for our server!
The restaurant does not make you aware of this prior to your reservation nor prior to your ordering and therefore after dining you are unaware that perhaps a trip to the ATM for cold CASH might be s smart route to go PRIOR to dining at Basil's or perhaps deciding to dine elsewhere

Absolutely one of the worst experiences ever. The food was ok (nothing special), but the service was horrible. They almost never acknowledged that we were there. We had to wait approx 30 min every time we needed something after the 1st drink, which was already 15-20min after we got a table. We even ordered a bottle of wine. But they didn't come back 30 min or so to ask for the main entree orders. The restaurant had a lot of empty tables. So I will never go back. Ruined my Sat night dinner.

It's been YEARS since I've had the pleasure of dining on the sweet little patio at Basil's - a true hidden gem in Buckhead. This is a really popular locale for those in the know, tucked away on Grandview in an increasingly less residential area. (Buckhead is just evolving like crazy these days.) After my meal today, I've decided I've gotta get this one back in the regular rotation.
Basil's offers a complimentary valet - always a nice touch! - but there's also tons of street parking around if you prefer.
Reservations are available via OpenTable, but not too

I celebrated my birthday here Sunday with a small group of friends and I am so glad we did. The vibe was exactly what I wanted for a chill Sunday evening. We sat inside by the patio and it was everything ! The weather was perfect, they had heat lamps and cute lights outside. The food was delicious! We order tapas, salads, and entrees. Literally everything was good! I believe it's family owned and operated so everyone was helping out in some way. Lastly, the drinks were so good!!! Hand crafted with love for sure. I will definitely be back soon!

This restaurant is AMAZING. It is certainly a hidden gem in the Atlanta area. The food is exquisite and very reasonably priced for the portion size and flavor. We visited on a Sunday evening with a party size of 8 for a birthday and we were treated so great! We ordered several different tapas, and we all ordered different entrees; the general consensus regarding the food - 10/10!! We brought a cake and the servers cut the cake and made a beautiful presentation for us! The cocktails were great also, I recommend the mule. Go visit them!

We were celebrating my wife's birthday with friends and Basil's really came through for us so wanted to post a 5/5 review. A day before we were scrambling to find a dining venue since our plans changed due to the stormy weather to come. I was able to book spots for our group which showed great service from Basil and Opentable.
We arrived for dinner and instantly fell in love with the space. The modern wall art, Mediterranean timber lofted ceilings, and the white linen tablecloths made the dining experience a balanced mix of formal yet festive.
The service was top notch, with staff

Lovely afternoon for lunch on the patio. The did was fine. Our waitress did not wear a mask at all. I didn't want to upset or offend her before we received our food, so I asked her at the end of the meal if the regulations for servers to wear masks had been lifted. She responded that if I had asked her to wear her mask, she would have.... but that she works double shifts everyday and the mask is hot and doesn't prevent the spread....
This is the first restaurant that I have been to since last June, where the server didn't wear a mask!!

It was my first time eating here. The staff was friendly but the service was very poor. They served undercooked French toast to two of the people, they messed up the checks. They also only offered a partial menu and some of the items on the partial menu were not available as printed. So a partial partial menu. I would be curious enough to try again under full menu availability. I had the crab cake Benedict w/hollandaise. The crab cake was patted to a super thin patty, you almost couldn't see it with the mounds of onions and peppers that are on the English muffin. I really felt over charged. The

Immediately you can tell this is a family owned and run business, which I personally love and really wanted for the dining experience to go well as I love supporting family, local businesses. The decor was beautiful, the ladies working there were very nice (except the pretty lady with the pig tails who never smiled - yes, people can tell if you smile under the face mask - but I chalk it up to they were busy). Our server was the one of the owners, I believe, who was very nice. However, he ended up having too many tables and we had a hard time getting service and took a VERY long time to check out

Lovely little spot!! My friend and I came here for a cute little brunch and sat on their patio. We absolutely loved it! I've lived in this area for almost 3 years and never even realized this spot was here! We got the Crab Cake Benedict with potatoes and another side of fruit. It was delectable! Will definitely come back here again! Too cute not too!

Basil's is located in the Buckhead community of Atlanta, Georgia. It's near lots of great shops within walking distance.
Upon my arrival to the restaurant the hostess found my reservation I'd made through Open Table. She then offered me seating in their large outdoor patio dining area. They are offering only outdoor dining at this time.
After being seated a server brought me courtesy flatbread, and it was topped with a mix of tomato, basil, mozzarella cheese, and tasted perhaps to have some garlic or onion seasoning. It was nice.
As an appetizer I ordered their assorted empanadas

In a city like Atlanta with an abundance of restaurants, often with lengthy wait times and a hassle to make reservations, dining at Basil's was an absolute breath of fresh air. I really enjoyed the small intimate feel of the restaurant and not feeling rushed to get through our meal so they could turn tables over for incoming customers.
I ate here on Saturday night for a birthday dinner right as they opened for dinner and the staff was very attentive to our party of 7. A number of us had drinks at the bar before being seated, I had the Amalfi Mule which was refreshing and delicious. One of
