My love of cake making started in 2004 when I made my son his first birthday cake. Since then I have taken several classes on cake decorating and have been self taught many more skills. I am always learning something new and love a challenge. I started Clover Dust in 2014 when my friends and family encouraged me to share my cakes with more than just them.
Clover Dust Cakes offers parties and classes that are perfect for birthdays, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate events, and more! Each child will be provided with either 6 cupcakes or 1- 6inch cake (depending on your preference). Chocolate or vanilla available. Cakes will be pre-iced.
At Clover Dust Cakes we pride ourselves on not only having beautiful cakes, but cakes that are delicious too. Too many people have gone to events where the cake is breathtakingly beautiful but tastes like cardboard. Yuck! That won't happen at Clover Dust Cakes. Clover Dust Cake's version of confetti cake (you can even pick your special color confetti) filled and frosted with confetti icing.
Cupcakes start at $30 per dozen with a minimum order of 12 per flavor. Basic cupcakes come in your choice of flavor with your color choice of frosting on top. They will include wraps in your choice of colors and will be packaged in groups of 6 or more. Extras - pricing varies. Includes sugar work, multi colored icing, fondant, sugar flowers, hand painting, monograms, toppers, and any other detail work.
Clover Dust Cakes is a home operations kitchen at 6722 New Hampshire Trail in Crystal Lake. Custom wedding cakes should be ordered 2 to 3 months in advance. If your wedding is sooner than that, please give us a call and we will see if our schedule and your design will allow us to fit you in. Custom birthday cakes, custom cupcakes, and cake pops should be ordered no later than 2 weeks before the event.
