Seeing a growing need to provide much needed homes for folks away from home, AHI Corporate Housing began in 1990 providing extended stay options in Alabama. The first piece of the puzzle for corporate apartments in Alabama was temporary housing and extended stays in Birmingham. The company quickly expanded by providing extended stays in Huntsville.

This company took $135.00 in application fees from me and never ran my application. I was told the property was available so I applied and the next morning I was told that the property was unavailable and that I could choose from one of their other properties. I waited 5 days and the property came available again. I called to see if my application would be processed at this point and I was told "No". The employee told me that there was another applicant was being processed at the time even though the property was now, again, listed as available. When I asked if my application had been

A company that has lost it's way. We used AHI for 4 years to manage our home and were very happy with them for most of that time. Unfortunately the last year things have changed with them. They are mismanaged and don't care about their customers anymore. They take weeks to respond, they won't admit fault when they make mistakes and just pass the blame. We even talked to the President and he just kept trying to pass the buck. In the end we had to take over our housing project repairs ourselves to get anything done. AHI is the worst company I have ever done business with. They managed our house in Hoover, Alabama for 1.5 years, and they are very slow to move on repairs and to communicate with my husband and I. We had a sewer back-up in December/January that they didn't tell us about, then it happened again in March and it backed up into the hall and 2 bedrooms. The laminate floor in the hallway buckled and the carpet was nasty as a result of the back-up, so I told them that I wanted the plumbing and flooring issues fixed, and multiple emails later they stated the repairs would be done late May-early June

We hired AHI to be our property management company and they are hands down the worst company. The lack of communication with owners was nonexistent! Often times our emails and calls to several AHI employees would go unanswered and when we did make it down to look at our property, because the tenants broke the lease the house was a mess! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AHI and would not trust them to ever take care of any of my properties.

The most unorganized, unprofessional organization I have ever dealt with. They allowed the property owner along with a neighbor harass me. The landlord then threaten me and said if I didn't like it to move out. I paid my rent on time, keep her place clean, notified property management of anything going wrong in the unit and was very quiet. This treatment was unwarranted and unprofessional. I would not allow my corporation to rent from them.

Please do not rent are lease from this so called company. I have had mold in my home for two years. You have to call tens times just to get some one out and then when they come they patch it up and then never return. The after hours number is the worst my a/c is out and no one is coming to help. Please use my review just look at the others.

My husband and I had a terrible experience with AHI and finally terminated our relationship with them. We rented our home in Birmingham after an out of state job transfer and hired AHI to manage the property. There was little to no communication about maintenance issues until the deposit of our rent would be short at the end of the month. Billing was done months later about repairs we weren't told about. I sent email after email to the maintenance team and wouldn't receive a response for months, if at all. We asked for the house to be inspected every six months - that didn't happen
