My great grandfather, Giacomo Peirano, arrived in San Francisco in 1879 from his home in Genoa, Italy. By 1881, he started farming in Lodi, and year by year he steadily gained a place for himself pioneering vineyard and orchard development. Planted in the early 1880's, Peirano Estate was one of the first vineyards in Lodi.
The aromas of fresh picked white peaches, ripe melon, and yellow apples instantly fill your senses and are complemented by hints of light vanilla that entices that first sip. Aromas of red & black cherries, cranberries, blackberries, black olives and hint of cocoa. Filled with an array of flavors, including black cherry, strawberry and raspberry with lingering hints of cocoa and toasted oak.
WINEMAKING NOTES: The cooler, sunny weather throughout the summer allowed the final grapes to "linger" on the vine longer, developing more phenolic and flavor maturities, with sugar levels remaining steady. Ripeness was very consistent and overall, flavors and aromas were very impressive with deep, intense color with complex aromas and supple flavors.
Peirano Estate Vineyards reserves the right to check ice chests or bags when entering the venue. This is a vineyard and tasting room and most of our events are 21 and over events unless otherwise specified. The maximum occupancy of the vineyard is 200. We are required to supervise the crowd and cannot allow new visitors once we have reached capacity.

If you want some fancy tasting room and special pairing or something, this isn't the place. The tasting room is kind of stuck on the 90s and very small. But the service was great and the tasting is FREE, which is now unheard of in the area. The wine was much better than I have had in a while (and I do a lot of tasting and drinking). They were having a special and my dad and I each bought a case, which came out to about $6 a piece- for wine that is better than a lot of the $24 bottles I have. I liked their Zin and blends. Didn't love their whites, but viognier is interesting. They

I drive by this place everyday when I go to work, but had never stopped in. At another winery, someone told us to check it out, glad we did. One of the few places that still offers a free tasting! And that tasting is a real one! The place is well regulated due to Covid, but we still joked around with our wine expert. The bonus on this place: 80 bucks for a case of wine! And this is a mix and match. The tasting room is a converted house, so not the biggest place, but the tastings (quite a few) make up for it!

Wonderful little tasting room in Lodi. Cozy and very welcoming. "The Other" red blend is pretty special! I'd also recommend the Old Vine Zinfandel, bold and tasty.
Do yourself a favor and pop in to Peirano Estate Vineyards while in Lodi. You'll be glad you did. Friendly staff and a comfortable spot to sip some wine you might not have heard of but will be worth your time.

Been going to Lodi, CA, tasting wines at their many wineries for years! Have no idea how we've missed this place! It was mentioned in Wine Spectator magazine, so my wife and I decided to check it out. What a delightful find! The tasting is complimentary and you're welcome to taste them all, and all the wines (and there are many different varieties!) are the same low price! If you buy by the case, the price is even lower, and you can mix and match! As to the quality of the wine, it defies the price! There will be some of them you'll like more than others, but I promise you, you'll buy their wine

Lovely set up. Wine tasting is by appointment only and takes place on the patio. Wine tastings are on the house and you can try the whole menu! Likely the first winery I've been to in years where every wine is tasty! The 2018 Malbec and the 2019 Viognier are quite delish a must try. Our hostess was very knowledgeable and attentive to our tastings!

We have been here couple times and really enjoyed their wines, picnic garden, and hospitality. Benjamin and Jen were super friendly. We loved their dips/samplers and bought the Chipole Mustard, Chili jam, and Champagne Honey Mustard. We had great times and ordered couple cases. Good prices on the wines was a big plus! Will come back again!!!
