John Lochridge is a child, adult and family psychiatrist who has been in private practice in Atlanta since 1983. He did his undergraduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and attained his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. He did his medical internship and psychiatric residency at the University of Colorado, where he also completed a two-year child psychiatry fellowship, serving as chief resident.
Dr. Lochridge is a popular speaker for school, church, parent and business groups and also lectures to physician groups on pharmacology and medical intervention for depression, attention deficit disorder, anxiety disorders and other psychiatric conditions.

I have been seeing Dr. Lochridge for 10 years. He is very kind, funny, patient, intelligent, and understanding. He is caring and optimistic. I always leave his office with a new point of view and feeling better than when I came in. He is never hesitant to talk about himself when asked, unlike most psychiatrists. While he is always professional, talking to him is like talking to a good friend. His wife/office manager Millie is special as well.
