We provide home inspections for new construction, existing construction, and renovated properties of all ages. We review our findings with you following the inspection and follow up with a thorough, itemized home inspection checklist by the next business day. Radon is a natural gas that occurs everywhere.
As our lead home inspector, John Steele recognizes that buying a home is a huge financial and emotional purchasing decision. He whole heartedly wants to provide you with the most accurate inspection so you can make your decisions with confidence. His true talent is simply how he delivers his inspection findings.
Charla Steele is a professional artist and has teamed up with her husband to begin Qualitas Home Inspections (QHI). She and John have renovated personal properties and investment properties together. Charla and John thoroughly enjoy working together and decided it was time to engage in a new business venture.

Best service we could have asked for and a great home-buying partner. They inspected 2 homes for us as the first one fell through and both experiences were amazing. They came out within 24 hours of our requests and walked us through the entire process and gave a great, detailed report in more than a timely manner.

This was by far the best home inspection I've ever observed. We joined Dean for the inspection and promised not to hover too much or ask too many questions. Dean was fantastic and allowed me to check in with him throughout the inspection. I even joined him for the inspection in the crawl space. He provided a super valuable service and helped me solve a few mysteries with the house. And he had a great sense of humor. You won't be disappointed with Qualitas!

I had a very positive experience with Dean. It was very easy to schedule an inspection and Dean was on time, very orderly and looked at every detail. This is my first home buying experience and he helped explain things to me so I could understand. The inspection report was emailed to me the next morning, very easy to read. Dean also stated multiple times that I can call him whenever after the inspection and he would go over the details with me again if needed. Would recommend them to anyone buying a home!

Without having any knowledge of the area / state Qualitas was recommended to us and we were certainly happy we went with them. The inspector (Dean) was very friendly and took care to walk through the process, point out anything missed and ensure he answered questions. He was well informed regarding safety, codes, local laws, etc... He was very thorough in his inspection and detailed in his report. After the report was finished the inspector was very responsive to all our questions. We would highly recommend Qualitas.

Highly recommend Qualitas. John and Charla were both extremely helpful in scheduling a short notice home inspection for us. We were buying an old home and relocating from out-of-state so we were a little nervous and anxious about the home. Because of the expertise and thoroughness of John we were extremely comfortable relying on his inspection report, opinions and recommendations. Had John from Qualitas Home Inspections come out and do an inspection on a home we are purchasing. He was very professional and presented us with a detailed report with pictures showing what he found, with recommebdatiins to repair the issue. He also performed a radon test and presented those results in an additional report. I would recommend John for a great inspection service, very easy to work with and explained issues he found to us.

Not only did John catch a major crawl space issue related to microbial growth and moisture that a previous inspector had missed, he also came back by on five different occasions to ensure the corrective work had been completed properly. We have used Qualitas Home Inspections three times now over the years and I won't recommend anyone else when it comes to home inspections. John is extremely thorough and considerate when does these inspections and I respect this opinion and recommendations each time he turns around a report.

John came highly reviewed by our realtor when we purchases our new construction home. He performed our pre-closing inspection, which uncovered some important items for the builder to fix. I contacted him again as our 1-year builders warranty was expiring. Initially I wasn't thrilled about spending $500 again for an inspection, but luckily they offered an option without a typed up report for $225 where I could follow him through the house taking my own notes. I have now called on John twice. Once on my house and once on a rental property I just purchased. He has always made an effort to get me worked into his schedule.
