Sarah Ellenwood Counseling
Meaningful therapy is all about connecting the dots. Past, Present, and Future. It won't magically solve your problems. Instead, you'll learn about your lifelong patterns while being guided toward a solution. It's not always easy work, but you won't do this alone. The connection with your therapist is essential to connecting with your best self, partner(s), and world.

What's on your mind? Let's connect the dots.

I've always viewed therapy as a creative, one-of-a-kind, collaborative process between therapist and client(s), and believe all individuals inherently know how to heal themselves, but need guidance and support when they have lost their way. I avoid pathologizing people and their thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Slow down and enjoy life. WHAT: Walk the Talk Therapy is a counseling session that has been taken to the streets. Often these sessions take place outdoors where the therapist and client walk side by side during the journey of therapy. Taking a walk together is an active metaphor for therapy. This therapy technique fuses the mind-body connection that many people require to make a change.
60 min. 50 min. 90 min. Initial Assessment $175.60 min. Phone or Video Sessions are also offered. The agreed upon payment is due at the beginning of all sessions. Payments can be made in person via cash, check, or credit card. At this time I am not on any insurance panels. I am able to give you a receipt if you wish to submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement.

I've been seeing Sarah for almost a year. Her perceptivity is amazing, and her words often echo with me throughout the week. She uses plain human language to discuss psychology jargon, because her depth of understanding is second nature.

When I look back on my incredible healing and growth this past year, I credit Sarah for her ability to see into me as deeply as I wish while providing unwavering trust and professionalism. She is articulate, funny, and human- which makes the sessions flow easily. She is a remarkable therapist.
