Learn about eye exams, what's involved in a comprehensive exam, and special considerations for kids and contacts. An often unknown fact is that not all patients wear contact lenses as their primary source of vision correction. According to experts, 80% of learning is visual, which means that if your child is having difficulty seeing clearly, his or her learning can be affected.
Eyes are important indicators of overall health, and comprehensive eye care goes beyond a prescription for glasses or contact lenses. At Dr. Ellis R. Jones and Associates, we take the time to get to know you, your eye care history, and your vision needs. Our optometrists provide the expert care, advice, options, and follow up you need whether you are a new patient or an existing one.

Too much in a rush. Felt like a conveyer. I have told the doctor I don’t understand English fully, and regardless, doctor barely answers any questions, or give any advices (I found out I have astigmatism, no advice or information about it), nor how much is my current vision is in numbers (to track my progress), one question was completely ignored.
The receptionist at the doctors office, young Hispanic girl with at the computer and a girl with bleached hair, standing next to her, pretending like they don’t know the question i asked need to work about the attitude and smile more.

I called and spoke with the office manager who happen to answer the phone when I called. Front office staff is rude and of lack customer service. Claim not to be bilingual but where speaking Spanish when we were leaving the appointment. Did not help my grandmother and when she had had her own translator they kept telling her to put on her mask you cannot read her lips. She’s a neck breather. Office manager kept deflecting my concerns and blaming the insurance instead of reassuring us to address with staff.
