Hello Hair Studio opened its doors in November of 2015. The location in the heart of downtown Indy's historic Fountain Square cultural district was a simple choice for owner and stylist Carrie Peoni. As a resident of the neighborhood, the arts and music that define this community play a huge role in her life, and that carries over into her business.
Hello Hair Studio is a premier Indianapolis salon that strives for consistency while constantly pushing our technical expertise to incorporate the latest trends. With just three chairs, the Hello Hair Studio team isn't striving to compete with the biggest salons in town. We aim to provide an intimate salon experience that brings forth the vision of each one of our clients.

I keep going back. Enough said. Heather is friendly and creative. Makes me look hip and well groomed. Of course, my hair is not dyed, but I am told by others that the colors are great and last.
Need a glass of wine or a beer or coffee while wating, just ask. Have an idea for your style? Discuss it with the stylist and she may have a better idea, but either way you will get what you want.

LOVE Hello Hair Studio! Cute space with tons of natural lighting and awesome vintage furniture. Heather did my hair and was AMAZING. I usually let my hair grown for years cause I hate it when stylists ignore what I want and just do what they think is cute. But Heather made the process so simple (yay- stress free!) and did exactly what I wanted that I really look forward to getting my hair trimmed and styled really soon. She also made the extra effort to pencil me in cause I was a walk-in. Heather is the best!

I can't speak for all of the stylists there, but I've been seeing Jamie for nearly 2 years now. She's the best stylist for pixie cuts that I've ever had and I love her!
The space is very cool, open and naturally lit. There are tons of plants to make it feel more homey. There's coffee and tea if you want some, and a nice little waiting area if you get there early. The lot in back is kind of small but street parking usually isn't too hard to find. I almost always grab some coffee afterwards at the cat cafe next door!

Carrie is truly as good as it gets. I have a pixie haircut, and while many believe getting a pixie trimmed is a small feat, they are all sadly mistaken. A bad pixie haircut is a BAD pixie haircut.
As someone that has had the same stylist their entire life, my biggest fear of moving to a new city was finding someone new to cut my hair. I didn't get a haircut for several months due to fear of getting a bad haircut, but once a literal mullet was taking over my head, I made the plunge and booked an appointment with Carrie.
I have never considered going to another stylist since. Carrie is careful

Wow, what a great place to get a haircut. I saw a sign out front for a barber on duty so I walked in the entrance, which is on the back of the old Domi Style building Fountain Square. Troy, the in house barber had a client in his chair, but could take me after that cut was done. While I was waiting, I had the chance to look around what is one of the cutest tweest spaces I've ever been lucky enough to experience. With natural light and indoor plants galore, it's a very relaxing salon.
The haircut, well I showed Troy a picture of Justin Timberlake from 2015 at the Cannes Film Festival
