Payed for a trail ride of 6 ($60/person) and it was the BEST experience. Everyone loved it, the staff was very nice and patient with us which was very helpful since everyone in the party had no experience riding horses. For those looking to book just keep in mind that this is a *family owned business* and the staff are either family or volunteers (10-17ish years old). Be patient with the people AND the animals! The owner, Roseanne, was very lovely and attentive with the riders and horses to ensure a good experience. Roseanne also has the most interesting stories and can tell you the history of

This review is not rating the owners, but the over all experience. Upon arrival it was hard to find the barn since there weren’t any signs or a clear path to the barn. It was more like a private property set up than a horse barn business. I was pretty disappointed that my $60 trail ride was more of a sit on a horse and take photos, than an actual riding experience. The ride is not really what you would consider a trail, you can see straight through the trees and see other peoples yards along the way. The path is super narrow and rocky with branches sticking out, I wouldn’t consider this safe

Three of us adults and 9 year old niece went on a trail ride here today and had so much fun! The horses behaved beautifully for us adults with no experience and the staff was so interesting to talk to during the ride. The staff communicated instructions well and were very kind, taking our pics and texting them to us and thanking us for visiting them. The four of us loved our horses, the course, and the family was great! We’d definitely go back!

I volunteer at Blue Spruce Farm to provide equine reiki to the horses there. I can honestly and genuinely say that the owners there are the kindest people and care and respect their horses. They requested my services to provide extra healing therapy for their horses so they remain healthy and well adjusted. They are all knowledgeable and experienced in their profession. They are all experienced riders and trainers.
My daughter attended their summer camp and had the best time. Ive read some negative reviews which were incorrect. It is not healthy to ride horses when the weather becomes extremely

Worst Summer Camp -Beware
I registered my daughter to attend their horse back riding camp for one week. It was the worst experience for her. This camp is extremely disorganized, lacks communication, camp schedules is misleading and UNSAFE. I paid money for my daughter to ride horses on a daily basis and their were days were she never rode a horse or if she did it was only for 20 minutes. Staff have no personalities and at morning drop off Roseann doesn’t even interact with kids or parents and at pick up Roseann ( the owner who runs camp) isn’t even their to recap the day, her son is there

Brought my son for his first pony ride. He absolutely loved it. The staff, Roseanne, Christine and John were extremely friendly, kind and very nice. Roseanne was very accommodating when I called to book an appointment. I plan on going back for a trail ride soon. The horses are very well trained and cared for. I highly recommend Blue Spruce Farms.

So let me start off by telling you that any bad reviews must be false or due to issues with the reviewer(s). I saw video of one particular incident also. Enough said.
Anyways, the experience there is top notch. The rescue horses are well loved and taken care of. The owners/guides are very thorough with the help and instruction needed. Everyone is very friendly and informative also.
My girlfriend and I will definite be returning for more. Maybe for a snowy trail ride hopefully.

Been horseback riding once before as a youth but love horses and never knew where I could go or had the time to do it. Decided this was the year to finally get back on searched the Internet and found this place. Me and my sister went up and there were some of the most beautiful horses. We had some cool guides and instructor was very good. We are definitely going back.

This is a local gem. I called on Saturday morning to see if there was any last-minute availability for a trail ride for 2. Fortunately for us, we got a spot and were saddled up 3 hours later.
We enjoyed an hour trail ride on a lovely sunny day. Our trail guides John was very helpful and quite pleasant, along with Kristine and Roseanne.
They took extra care personally assuring each rider was comfortable during the ride. We've had a proper instructions before going for a trail ride.
Absolutely a friendly energy from everyone we interacted with. The facilities were well maintained, and the horses
