Services
Self-defense skills are essential for everyone. Attackers typically go after people who look like easy targets. But when you have the skills to protect yourself and the people you care about, you won't look like an easy target. Instead, you'll carry yourself with awareness and confidence. At WNY Mixed Martial Arts & Fitness, you learn self-defense that takes you well beyond what's typically covered in self-defense seminars.
In martial arts and combat sports, striking refers to hand-to-hand combat between opponents in a standing position. In contrast, you have grappling arts that largely dictate ground fighting, though in MMA striking can be part of a fighter's ground game. Strikes can come from fists, knees, elbows, and kicks in order to hurt your opponent or set up the opportunity to enter into grappling.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi Submission Wrestling, and Wrestling are the grappling arts that we teach and practice at WNY MMA & Fitness. But, for those who are new, what is grappling? In grappling, for self-defense and for sport, we work without weapons or striking to gain an advantage over our opponents.
The Buffalo Mixed Martial Arts a.k.a. MMA scene has exploded in recent years and WNY MMA & Fitness has been leading the way since the start! MMA is just what it sounds like: mixing together multiple martial arts to ensure that you are as well-rounded as you can be.

Our Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay Thai Kickboxing classes will get your standup work A-game ready, while our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi, and Wrestling classes will give you the ground skills needed to complement your standing game.In our MMA programs, you'll learn everything you need to be competent in all areas of combat.

Very welcoming atmosphere and everyone was exceptionally kind while I was visiting. Harrison made it a breeze to confirm the class I would attend when I called initially. I even received waivers to sign digitally and a confirmation email. This school is huge and has really great facilities. Everything you could want is under one roof here. Professor Ron showed techniques that have real world application. It was a friendly and skilled group.

Great place. Love the atmosphere, great coaches. All skill levels are welcome, there's something for everyone. If you just wanna burn some calories 2-3 times a week, totally cool. If you wanna go hard spar, take multiple classes a day, that's cool too. All for the same price. People are welcoming and its always easy to find a partner. No judgment zone!

There are no better kids coaches than Jeff and Matt. I've been to other gyms and have been around mma gyms in and out of state. Coach Caveman and Flores are special people, if your looking for a martial arts gym for your kids try it out here you will not be disappointed.

I trained here for the following month prior to shipping out for the military. I've trained in dozens of gyms and have never gotten the experience I got here. The trainers are respectful, kind, and experienced. The equipment is heavy duty and have variety. Everyone in the gym is kind and respectful. A special thanks to Corey for having me this past month. If I'm ever in town I will be coming back here. Remember, check your ego at the door.

I've been training here for over a year now. These are the best guys in the WNY area. Mike Dub and Corey are some of the nicest guys you can have the honor to train under and the rest of the staff is great too. The kids coaches do an amazing job of providing a fun learning environment for the kids. All of the coaches going beyond standards and will work with you one on one to help you improve your skills in martial arts. The pro and am fighters that come out of this place are extremely friendly and helpful to those just starting out and they also have the records to deserve the respect they

Great for people looking to get in shape and learn self defense. Also has definitely developed a talented fight team with professional MMA and boxing athletes that are headlining nationally recognized professional fight cards. If you are looking to get in shape or compete in Jiu-Jitsu​, MMA, or boxing competitions the place to go.

I have been going to this gym for almost 2 years now. both of my instructors left the gym I was at before to train here. All in all we had about 10 guys leave my old gym to come to WNY MMA & Fitness. I was actually resistant to leaving at first because my old gym is where i STARTED training so I felt kind of obligated to stay, but there was nobody my size to train with(230 pounds) and nobody with any experience either. So glad I left! We get about 30 guys in every BJJ class and the experience level ranges from brand new guys to guys who are brown belts and have been training for 9 years
