Food lacks a lot of authentic flavor. Also, the waiter that served us was never present. Had no personality. We waited over 30 minutes to be checked up on to order after getting our drinks. Also, he presented to be annoyed to be working. I don’t recommend coming to this restaurant. It truly is not worth the money or hype.

We were in Colorado Springs that weekend for the Indian Market. It snowed Saturday evening, which was beautiful to see and feel. We live in Southern NM. Our server, Alan S. was very very kind and very attentive. The food was very good but so much was served. We will definitely go back to eat there again whenever back in Co Springs. Thank you for the hospitality.

I have been looking for the best Mexican Restaurant in COS, I’ve found some okay ones but the flavors just weren’t there. THIS restaurant is the best Mexican Restaurant I have found so far!! Even the salsa had delicious flavor while we waited for our food. Can’t remember the name of my friends plate but she had shrimp and mushrooms and carne asada on her plate, I tried her shrimp and mushrooms and it was bursting with flavor, just delicious. I asked for the #14 but asked for it to be a large combination instead of small. They are not playing around with their portions I probably would have

OMG! This place was absolutely amazing. I read the reviews before going and they didn't lie. Huge portions, great prices, lots of choices, clean, quick service and all of the staff from the hostess to wait staff were so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back and to anyone looking for a delicious and wonderful place to eat look no more. :)

We have really liked this place. Food is good but have had a couple of problems when ordering to go. Last night they got our order wrong. Left off beans and rice, because they thought I ordered just a burrito. I was charged accordingly but ordered a chicken burrito rice and beans. They gave me red sauce when I asked for green chili on the side. The food was barely warm. We were told 20-25 minutes but when we got there within 20 there were very few cars in parking lot . Plus there was no chips!

First time visit. Been trying to find good Tex Mex in the Springs, but it's just not panning out. However, we did find this place. Not Tex Mex, but good, whatever style it is. Love the decor. The staff is super friendly. The salsa needs flavor. Lacks salt and a touch of cumin. The divorced enchiladas are really good, but I've never tasted those sauces before. The sour cream in the white sauce is overbearing. Thickens as soon as it cools off. Adding chicken stock and cheese to the sauce would make it perfect. The Chili Relleno was really good too! Colorado restaurants are unfortunately obsessed

Probably the worst customer service of any Mexican restaurant in the Springs. Always gets orders wrong then the servers argue with you instead of fixing it. This has happened multiple times... I'm really not hard to please but if I order something please bring me what I order. Honestly you can find much better Mexican food at El Padrino or On the border. It's sad how horrible their customer service is. I'd really recommend that if you are looking for a pleasant dining experience please go elsewhere. They have made it crystal clear they don't care about their customers satisfaction

Everything about our dinner was perfect! The drinks were delicious. It's nice to pay for a drink and actually get a buzz instead of sipping on a ton of sugar fillers. The appetizers came out hot and delicious. All meals in our party were perfect. Definitely returning and will be my go to spot in the Springs for Mexican food.

Horrible service! When we first sat down, we instantly placed our drink orders and our kids' orders. 45 minutes later we still had no food. We had to flag down several other waiters to find our waiter - and he just told us "soon" Even the manager walked by and we told him - but we still waited ... and then our food came out cold. Very disappointing, never going here again

Been here 3-4 times before and the food was always good. But after we went a couple nights ago, me and my boyfriend got terribly sick. Food poisoning is not acceptable ever. We paid for good food, not to get sick. (we also only had bagels that morning and no change in our food routine that day) I called the restaurant to see if we could get a refund. They said yes so we went to the restaurant to get it. The owner came out and proceeded to mock us by offering to pay for the "medical bills" from our food poisoning. (Who goes to the doctor for that?) And calling us scammers and finally offering

We attended a wedding earlier this summer that was catered by Mi Mexico and I think I are more than anyone, I loved it so much. We visited the restaurant in person last night- we went in and looked at the menu and ordered dinner to go. It looks like such a great place inside- I can't wait to dine in! The people working were super friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I really enjoyed watching the homemade tortillas (Zaharia are delicious!) be made in the little booth in the waiting area! The food we got was really yummy. The tamale was the best I have ever had!!! I also got a taco salad

Delicioso! Just moved here from the west coast and was desperate to find an authentic Mexican place in the Springs. Tender, juicy meat; creamy refried beans; light, flavorful rice--mmm! The decorations are colorful, artistic, lots of interesting things to look. A lovely family-owned restaurant and a gem of a find.

We had great service! Like the best I have had here in the Springs! The food was really good as well! My only complaint is that my plate was so hot they kept making sure I didn't touch it. I ordered tacos so not sure why my plate was so dang hot. My husband said his tamale was dry and he didn't eat it. The flavors of everything else was delicious. The salsa was too watery for me but it isn't a deal breaker. It was free anyway. I will be back here, for sure! Oh, my taco al carbons were so stuffed that I was full after just 1!

As I write this I'm starting at 2 stars. We'll see as my narrative continues how it goes. I stopped in Mi Mexico to burn some time, have some margaritas and maybe a bite. The good news is that Tuesday is $3 house margs all day . The bad at the moment is I'm not sure what a house marg is. Both came from the same pre-made mix. But my first the bartender poured some tequila into the drink. The second with a different bartender he did not. Was the first being generous (smile on my face) or is there no tequila in the mix?
