Wade's Cafe has been serving breakfast in Colorado Springs since Thomas "Shorty" Wade, first opened the original "Wade's Pancake House" in 1953. Before the pandemic stated we used to love coming there for breakfast and would have coffee with it. Anymore when we order coffee it is so extremely strong we just can't handle it. It taste like they put double the amount of coffee grounds that it needs. We will not be coming back to eat there we will take our business to IHOP.

Went on a late Sunday morning. The wait was a bit long, but it was a late Sunday morning. Our server was friendly and fast. Food was exactly as I would expect from this type of restairant, it was pretty good. We had breakfast and it came to the table nice and hot. We will be back. Who am I? Just some dude with a culinary degree.

Kid loves her pancakes and bacon. Her fruit is good quality. For me, I became nauseous from my eggs Benedict. The egg was quite undercooked. I’d recommend this restaurant for the elderly person who loves super runny eggs, weak coffee and dining among their peer group. Our food came out in good time, though they were nearly full & our waitress Kelly was excellent. She did take my meal off the bill without me asking AND offered to replace my order. I appreciate her understanding very much.

Having a long night at work I needed something to eat. I was tired, hungry and just angry. I went to Wades and arrived to a "Hostess will seat you" sign. Not knowing the protocol I waited, waited and waited. I didn't know the protocol so I waited, waited and waited. After being seated that the early morning protocol is to seat yourself. OK. I am for that. lol...even one of their normal customers spotted me and had to tell them I was waiting.

Went to Wades Cafe for the first time today. The staff were super nice and not in a fake way. You can tell they liked their jobs. The food was a little cold, but the flavor was spot on. The omelet was done well. The side of green chilli was delicious. The pancakes although small packed in the flavor. Slightly crispy outside and fluffy comfort inside. Definitely will try them again. Overall good all American brunch 4 of 5 stars.....

This place is one of the best hole in the wall restaurants I've been to. I've been to Snooze and I'm sure we are all familiar with the business. This place is exactly like Snooze but with better prices and a home town feel. I've gone several times and love it. I've never had a problem with staff and constantly recommend it to family and friends!

Not sure what happened to this place but breakfast today was the worst experience. The eggs in the photo is what an omelete looks like from here. When i got home after picking up the online order, i realized we did not get the side of sausage and got pecan pancakes instead of regular pancakes. I called Wade's cafe and the man working said that if i could come back he would fix the order. I went back and got regular pancakes and the sausage patty. The sausage patty was wrapped in foil that looked like it was previously used for something else. See photos.

Wades café is a wonderful place to experience. The service is always good and the cafe is very popular. I went on a Saturday late afternoon and waited only about 10 minutes. I came to Wades because I really wanted a Reuben sandwich and they had one on their menu. I ordered a Reuben sandwich expecting it to be phenomenal according to the menu it sounded like it would be fantastic. When my food came out it looked great, but the taste just wasn't there. Instead of using Ryebread they use a thin regular every day bread with very little taste. The roast beef was awesome but there was hardly any

First time visit. Good sized menu, with plenty of breakfast and lunch items to choose from. Absolutely awesome service. My wife had biscuits and gravy. Good biscuits, and the gravy was decent. The sausage patty tasted like McDonald's. Their chicken fried steak is frozen. I got the breakfast burger. I see why it won an award! I'm gonna be hooked. If they can learn how to dip a fresh cubed steak into seasoned flour, then put it in the same deep fryer as their frozen ones, then they'll get 5 stars. It takes 10 seconds to prep a fresh chicken fried steak.

Just got our food to go and both meals came with RAW sausage in the gravy. Completely pink and soft and mushy. I am disgusted and hope I don’t get sick.
UPDATE: Came in to get money back and the manager was so rude. Had no concern for the health issue. He denied that the meat was raw. Cannot believe this guy lol. Do NOT eat here. It’s one thing to serve raw meat and OWN UP TO IT AND APOLOGIZE, but to argue with us? Unbelievable.

I wanted to sit outside and BB didn't have their patio open so I called around to see what did. Wade's came through. Also a plus, there wasn't a wait for the patio when we arrived around 11:45am this Sunday.
I ordered the #2 Special, Meter Reader with Famous Wade's Maple Iced coffee.
-The #2 comes with Biscuits and Gravy, 2 Eggs and Hashbrowns. I asked for the hashbrowns crispy and eggs to have grilled onions and cheese. Eggs were good. Nice amount of cheese on them, but I wish it would have been melted on the griddle. It seemed the cheese was added once on the plate or wasn

We have been here several times. The workers are very very polite and nice! The atmosphere if it's busy is loud but it's manageable because you know people having a good time laugh and talk louder so I don't mind the loudness. The outside seating is very well taken care of. My favorite plate will always be the full size Biscuits & Gravy. My husband loves their burritos. The iced coffee is wonderful! They even use coffee ice cubes so your drink never gets watered down. This is our go to breakfast place if we are on a budget that week.

Both of my orders today had completely raw sausage gravy throughout. I tried talking to the cook/ manager and he argued with me about it being cooked. Clearly it is not. It's one thing to be served raw meat but what's more concerning is the lack of care to make the situation right. I mean look at these photos and decide for yourself. I wish there was more acknowledgement and action taken to make sure people aren't being served this. I guarantee you there are people who are going to get sick from this batch of gravy today.

This morning we called to ask about their wait time, and the gal on the line told us there was currently no wait. 7 minutes later we arrived to find a line out the door of the restaurant. I went inside to speak to someone, and no one could be bothered to come to the hostess stand to speak to me. I can only say it was very unprofessional to lie to a potential customer on the phone, and I will not be eating here in the future.

Wow what a great place, the food was outstanding and the service from Alexandra S. Was top notch. I highly recommend this place or I should say we highly recommend this place we are three Marines visiting Colorado to go see the Dragonman Museum, so if you're in Colorado Springs make sure you have breakfast at

Came in for a Sunday breakfast with my family...happy that they are open and doing the best they can with the circumstances our government has put on businesses.
The service was fine...the place was mostly locals and they all seemed to know each other and the servers were friendly.
The food was good...could have been served hotter...but it was still better than going to a chain!
I look forward to my next visit

I love Wade's Cafe !!! Been coming here 10 years between me and some other folks we've tried mostly everything on the menu.. Wade's never seems to disappoint ... When you're there try the 3 egg Farmers Omelette with a side of Green Chile !

Biscuits and Gravy a "House Favorite" was the worst example of the dish I have ever encountered. Would have sent it back but there was so much wrong with it I doubted it could be salvaged.
Biscuits were the size of half dollar coins (for millennials that's two quarters). Small, small biscuits. But it got worse!
Gravy had one microscopic piece of sausage. Milky and runny. Happily, I'd only invested $6.00 and considered it a side order.
Finishing the snack of mini-biscuits, I ordered "Breakfast Hash." This turned out not to be corned beef hash, but hash browns, topped
