Micah has been our 12 year old son’s (electric and acoustic) guitar teacher for a few years. Throughout that time our son has enjoyed his lessons - looking forward to each class. My 9 year old son has done guitar lessons with Micah for the past 7 months. Micah is super professional, yet very informative, supportive + just a great overall instructor for my son. He encourages him + in just 7 months he has really grown from not knowing one thing about his guitar to playing recognizable tunes from songs. We definitely recommend Micah for guitar lessons.

I started taking lessons from Micah last year, and so far it’s been awesome. He’s a really cool guy, a great teacher, and has focused every lesson on helping me reach my personal goals, which has been really helpful. I’ve learned and improved more in the last 6 months than I ever did in the years learning by myself. Micah is a very experienced and knowledgeable guitarist and I 100% recommend him as a teacher!

Couldn't say enough good things about Micah and learning how to play guitar. Micah has been my guitar teacher for over 10+ years. He taught me the basics using songs and genres that I wanted to play. Not to mention he introduced me to some of my favorite bands of all time through learning how to play guitar. He's an encyclopedia of guitar techniques and can listen to songs and show you multiple ways to get their sound by ear.

I was one of Micah's students for 6+ years of my life. He was always very encouraging with his teaching and helpful with learning material you wanted to learn. I always looked forward to my weekly guitar lesson and what he taught me next! Very skilled in explaining the complexities of music theory in a simple manner and was always patient with helping you get it down. Micah became a good friend of mine by the end of it and I would recommend him to anyone interested in learning how to play the guitar.

Micah Grant has a miraculous gift in playing & teaching guitar! My star struck son met him at a Flash Pants concert & someone mentioned he gave lessons. My son, age 11, is a mostly self taught guitarist & drummer. So when he decided that he wanted to audition for 7th grade Charter Art School Guitar Program in less than 3 months - I panicked to find him a teacher that could support him to meet the insane requirements. With some YouTube tutorials and a couple summer camps at SOR under his belt we felt lessons elsewhere were not going to inspire him & lacked connection. Had bad experiences with slow

My daughter has been taking guitar lessons with Micah for around 9 months now, and we couldn’t be more pleased. She is always eager to show me new songs or techniques she has learned, and I can only attribute that to the patience and knowledge Micah displays. Nothing is better than the smile on your kid’s face when they are proud of their accomplishments. We highly recommend him.
