Looking for G&L guitar, this is one of very few dealers in SoCal. The shop is incredibly friendly and the staff is knowledgeable. They are a locally owned and operated business. They also hold a summer School of Rock and have pics of all the kids and their bands on the walls, signed like celebrities. Just a great vibe. Totally recommend.

We live in Kentucky and was in the area and was told that AB had the best selection and prices on guitars.
By far, the selection and service here is the best of any shop that I have seen in a long time!
Of course I couldn't leave here without picking up a new G&L Comanche!
Now I have beautiful guitar to add to the collection.

This is how a music store should feel! Personal service without the pushy vibe of the big box stores. Friendly advice without judgement... In person or Online music lessons, from real life musicians. A great selection of guitars, Basses, ukuleles, mandolins.... strings, music parts etc. ... Guitar set-ups and repairs. Look forward to my guitar lesson every week with Andrew

Last Christmas I came in to buy my boyfriend some new saxophone reeds. The guy working the counter was so friendly. I didn't know ANYTHING about what kind of reeds my bf needed, but after giving the man some basic information he chose the EXACT REEDS my bf needed (even the brand he liked!) These guys really know their stuff! I also bought a beautiful ukulele here last year that is still my absolute fave!!

WOW. This place is everything that one could want as far as ma-and-pa music shops go. A&B has friendly staff, who are helpful and attentive. Not to mention--they have REALLY expanded their inventory to cater to a higher-end audio equipment sweet tooth. Who would've thought that a little music shop would carry the sweetest G&L's around?!

This place is an absolute gem. In one way or another, my family has been coming here since AB Music has been open, and I'm well proud to say that we've kept it up to this day. Every single person I've ever talked with here has been incredible, insightful, intelligent and in no way overbearing. Being a smaller store, you won't be finding an expansive selection of every musical instrument on the planet in stock, but what you will find are die-hard musicians who truly care about working with you and making sure that you receive the best possible service. They are always happy

I started taking my guitar repair to AB Music and have been extremely happy! Now they have all my business. Really good guys, not just out to make a buck but provide excellent service. Much stronger at work on acoustics over my last repair shop. Craig and everyone there is out to make their customers happy and the do it every time!

This is the best Mom n Pop music store around, not sure if there is a mom but you get my point. It is a dyeing trend to see anything Mom n Pop any more. I buy my harmonicas from them and I get great prices and they even have all the keys, I could not be happier They sale some sheet music and videos and have lessons, Please give this place a try before you try those big chain stores, you will not be disappointed

I was thrilled to discover that AB Music held private lessons, especially for small little human beings. I have a 5 year old and I wanted him to start piano lessons. He has been taking them for over 8 months now and I am very pleased with the program and staff.
When he is ready to move onto drums, this will be my go-to-spot for lessons. AB Music is a one stop shop!

My son has been taking guitar lessons for over a year at AB Studios with Andy. Prior to Andy, my son was with another teacher at a different studio. My son loved both teachers, but has definitely learned more with Andy. He has improved so much in the last year, but I noticed the improvement within the first month of lessons with Andy. Very professional, reliable, and "cool" (from my son). Love this place for lessons. Charge is comparable with other teachers.

This place is a staple Of HB since 1981. I've had tons of repairs done here and took lessons. This place has had same teachers for many years that says a lot. Its not one of those long hair rocker shops Just a very local mom and pop place. I grew up here in HB and I've seen music stores come and go Yet this place is still here, not surprised.
Support it. They know there stuff . I think they repair just about anything oh ya amps too. If your punk, hardcore or just a local you know you've been here . If your Axe needs a setup this is the place. at least half the cost of anyone else
