My husband and I were recently traveling to visit family for Christmas when our truck broke down and needed to be towed. Not being from the area I called them randomly, and at first was told they were booked and then she said to go ahead and bring the truck in. They suggested a towing service and arranged for them to call us. It took awhile to get there and they waited for us until long after they were supposed to be closed for the day and fixed the truck right away. Being in an unfamiliar area, I can’t tell you how much it meant to be met with such kindness and competency. I highly recommend

The young man I spoke with briefly about my check engine light took time out of what he was doing to help me try to understand the issue. He laid out my options and offered initial impressions. Even though I did not follow through on repair, I felt heard and like i spoke with someone honest and willing to help out on a Saturday afternoon.

In the past my family has had great experience at Performance Plus. However, I needed a lot of work done on a Subaru Outback I recently purchased. The car needed to have the engine removed in order to fix the head gasket and rear main seal in addition to having its brakes resurfaced and exhaust system repaired due to rust. Every repair went over the initial estimate for cost and over the time they said they could do it in. When repairing the rear main seal and head gasket they took an additional two weeks to finish the work and when it was finished I had to bring the car back three more times

Car was misdiagnosed by $1,100 we were told that it would take that much to fix the truck so of course we got a second opinion and it turned out it was $2 clamp to fix our power steering. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and asked if it could have been something that could have been overlooked the other mechanic said absolutely not this was no mistake.

I brought my Toyota 4runner in to have a random clunk diagnosed and repaired. As someone who works on their own car, I had exhausted my own diagnostic skills and had figured that I was looking at something expensive to replace. The mechanics here were able to diagnose my problem in a reasonable amount of time, being it was a completely random clunk which is a hairball to find. And they saved me a ton in cash and parts. The mechanics here really know their Toyotas!!!

These are the best people! I had to get my car towed there for an issue. They fixed the immediate issue so my car was drivable, but checked and saw I still had warranty on my car and said the dealership could fix it for free. They didn't even charge me for the little work they did. From this experience I can tell they are an honest business and want to recommend them to everyone!

Honestly made a Yelp account just to point out that this place is not at all honest about their labor hours. Brought my car once for a diagnosis and quote on a brake issue. When I told them I got a better quote somewhere else they charged me $50 because "they had to put it up on the lift, which took some time."

Staff is very helpful and friendly..that's the only positive. I took my SUV in to get the heater fixed (this was after they had already looked at it and gave me an estimate). I accidentally showed up on the wrong day (early) and the mechanic said it was no problem they could handle it then. Two hours later the receptionist called and said the owner John said no, they can't do the work earlier than scheduled, to come and pick it up. So I bring it in on the originally scheduled date and the next day the receiptionist calls me to say that the owner said it's too much to deal with and

Such a helpful staff! They were technically closed when we pulled up, but they took the time to look at our old van anyways and tell us what had made the terrible noise we heard. They then commenced to order the part we needed and have it fixed within the hour. Couldn't have completed our road trip without them!

June 5. Too bad this is not an honest business. My daughter brought her Ford Focus in with an "electrical issue" It would not start but the battery was fine. They charged her $200 to "FIX" it. Two days later same problem. Her friend looked at it and discovered it was a fuse. They replaced the fuse. Great! Two days later, same problem. Fuse blew. Source of problem? Starter? Ignition? It turned out to be a short cause by a loose wire near the starter motor. Two zip strips later problem solved by her friend.

I have never had better service! My mom was stranded without brakes and no one to call. I was in Texas at the time and all I could do is search the internet and find an automotive place. I called them up, and they were able to help her get going again. They are super fair in their price, and were very sincere and nice to my mom. She lived too far away to go home, and had to wait while they fixed the brakes. They offered her lunch, and made sure she was comfortable all afternoon. Thanks you!! Such an amazing place to deal with, we will be bringing all of our vehicles their from now on.

Worst car mechanics ever! My boyfriend and I were traveling through town when we were having car problems. We read the good reviews online, but we were misled, probably because Performance Plus deletes unfavorable reviews. If they were honest people they would not delete bad reviews, but try and change their work ethic so that they were honest mechanics - that is how you get good reviews!! Our Jeep was in worse condition than when we brought it in, we even had to go to other mechanics later just to get work redone that they botched. To top it all off they were extremely overpriced!!!!! The last time I came here, these guys replaced my clutch for a good price and when the part was bad, they came too rescue me and my kids, fixed the bad part, and I drove my car back home that evening. Everyone that works here is nice, friendly, and hard working. I REALLY appreciate good, honest mechanics, and performance auto is everything I look for in a mechanic!

This place is a joke. My daughters grandparents bought her a 93 4 runner on Craigslist. They took the vehicle to Performance Plus for a inspection to make sure it was safe for her to drive. The charges were outrageous. Charged eighty dollars an hour and the mechanics are not certified. They repaired an emergency brake, replaced the battery and rebuilt the starter, and replaced a thermostat that did not need replaced. The total bill was near !000. After the car was given to my daughter found out the tires were different sizes and one of the rims had chunks out of it. The heater did not work due

John and his crew are mechanical wizards. This place was recommended to me by a friend, and the service has always been excellent. They have got all of my business, since 2008. They are honest, good old fahioned wrench turners - not looking to rip anyone off - just looking to fix your car the right way, the first time. It's too bad that there isn't an actual, real, recognized rating system in this city, because Performance Plus would set the standard. I have recommended them to all of my friends.

After driving my old and unreliable car 2,000 miles across the country, I knew something would go wrong. I was right. New to town, I took the advice of my coworkers and went to Performance Plus. The owner (I can't remember his name now) was very cordial and straightforward. He gave me an accurate estimate and didn't give me any bull. His first estimate way through the roof and I told him only to repair what was broken - not what might break in the future.
