Always enjoy staying at this hotel & the location is great, not far from a subway station and only 15 minutes ride from a bunch of the city sights but there's also a ton in walking distance. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby included a great one connected to the hotel that host some pretty groovy nights. Cheerful and welcoming atmosphere each and every-time . So so much hospitality and vibes. It's fun, beyond groovy and did I mention perfect for selfies every corner you turn. I really do vibe with staff each and every time. I never want to check out I even almost thought

So, overall the experience here was exceptional, particularly for the ridiculously low price we paid. From check in to breakfast, there are little details that made this place stand out. Would highly recommend.
The reason I’m only giving 4 stars is that, for all the great little touches, we couldn’t actually get any sleep! For one thing, our pillows smelled distinctly like feet. I wish we’d noticed this in time to swap them out but we didn’t realize until we were in bed. The second issue was that we had a pool-view room and the pool area is lit all night long. There are blackout shades

My husband and I stayed here during our Boston trip. Our check-in was quite pleasant. The room was very clean and fun with music theme. A record player in each room and a library of records to borrow and listen to. We had an amazing time and thank you to every person on the staff. Special shoutout to Amalia at Breakfast for an awesome service!

Came to Boston from Michigan for a concert at the House of Blues. A map can tell you that the hotel is walking distance to the venue but fails to give you a complete picture of the scope of their services. The Verb went above and beyond at every opportunity to ensure we had a great time during our limited stay.
Not a single person who worked there had a bad thing to say about their employer. We told the staff we only had a few days in the area and they gave us GREAT suggestions on how to make the most of our time. When I inevitably end up back in Boston, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Amazing experience! If you're a music fan, or just want a fun place to tuck-in that's close to everything in The Fenway- you will not be disappointed.

The music memorabilia captures multiple genres- and it's not limited to what's on the walls. Turntables in each room with a vast selection of albums to choose from.

Rooms are sparkling clean, linens are cozy and the staff treats you like a rock star. You'll leave with a smile on your face.

The Verb rocks!

Quirky little hotel with a wonderful location. The rooms are very clean and up to date. This is a music lover's paradise. The lobby has a 1200 record collection and each room has a player and a selection to get you started. My only complaint is the breakfast is a little limited.

Really awesome experience here- I rarely Yelp but I had to for this hotel. First time staying here and I will definitely be back! The staff were all beyond accommodating, the vibe is killer with the rock theme, the room also did not disappoint. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was huge and had everything you'd need, and every room has a record player with selections to choose from in the room and out front in the lobby. They offer free wifi, free bottles of water, breakfast in the AM, heated pool... it just goes on. It was such a fun experience and again can't emphasize how friendly and

The Verb was perfect for our overnight in Boston. The staff was amazing and went the extra mile to make our stay special for my son that was there for a medical appointment. We had so much fun with the records and swimming in the very heated pool on a chilly rainy night! We will definitely be staying there for future appointments!

My boyfriend and I stayed here the night after a concert at The House of Blues. It's so convenient because it's less than a 10 min walk to the venue! Considering its location the pricing is more than fair, and less than a lot of other hotels in the area. We checked in at 4 and were greeted by a lovely and friendly staff member at the front desk who gave us all the info we need. Our room was very clean upon arrival, more than spacious, and the bed was so comfy! There are many options in the immediate area for food. We got Blaze Pizza, which is literally across the street from the hotel. It was solid

At 49, I've never once written a review. I travel a good amount for work and stay in hotels up and down the east coast. The Verb is hands down the best hotel experience I've had....ever. Largely in part to the staff and the overall vibe of the place. Clean place, spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, stellar comped breakfast. The rock n' roll theme resonates with me, but I feel it wouldn't alienate any type of family or business traveler. The sweet perks of record player in each room with vinyl library in the lobby and nitro coffee on tap 24/7 speak volumes about their effort to stand out from the

This place is a musical paradise for music lovers. My husband and I just celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary here and the staff were amazing and super helpful. The vibe is so chill. I appreciate very much on how they care for their guest in regards to the covid situation. There was breakfast in the morning, with pastries, coffee, yogurt, etc. The rooms were a good size, very colorful and fun. The decorations throughout the hotel gave it a 90s vibe when music stores actually existed. I loved that it was in the middle of shops and mostly great restaurants. I loved every aspect of it and I can

Probably to cool for me, this property is boutique in every sense.

Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by the front desk staff as each of them introduced themselves by name. We knew we were in a place unlike any other by the dark walls and rock and roll décor. After we checked in, we were shown the amp that was a refrigerator holding bottles of water for the guests and the vinyl record collection you could borrow from to use in your room which was equipped with a record player.

The rooms were nice but I could have used a newer mattress.

The hotel located right beside Fenway. We could literally

It's been awhile, but I just had to update this review to say this place is still amazing. I make sure to stay a few times a year and the customer service is the best it's ever been. Cisco the valet is the absolute best! So friendly and welcoming! Joey at the front desk should teach a class in hospitality! The Verb is my happy place and the staff make it an experience. I can't wait to go back!

I booked The Verb for a mini getaway for the first time in 2019 as a surprise for my boyfriend. He's a musician and I'm a music nut so it seemed like a perfect choice. We've since been back 4-5 times. I love trying new hotels (and restaurants) vs going back to the same place but The Verb has captured our hearts. Having gone in every season, I was actually super impressed with the pool in February! An outdoor pool you can swim in while it snows? Magical. Heated to perfection.

Check in is a breeze and the rooms are great. We have a favorite but have been in two different ones and

Spent a night here this past weekend for a birthday getaway and was far from disappointed. The staff really did treat us like rockstars from the moment we walked in and they were even able to upgrade our room for us at the last minute. We loved that we were able to bring records into our room at any time and the decorations were a total vibe. Even the breakfast was great- can't wait to come back!

I would give this hotel more than 5 stars if I could. Wonderful customer service, Tom and Jordan up front went above and beyond for customer service. The rooms were incredibly clean and spacious. Upon arrival they give you records of your favorite bands to bring up to your room, which has its own record player. The rock and roll theme stays true throughout with a ton of memorabilia and rock puns. This is a great spot for a weekend getaway in Boston, it's walking distance to everything you could need and right behind Fenway Park!
