The Thompson family and their staff served our family with a spirit of excellence. They not only were present for the local services but also drove 4 hours to the graveside service. I meet these great people months prior to now and my first impression of them was great!! They told me about all the plans they had and I set things in motion for my aunt and mom. Well my aunt passed away last Tuesday and she wanted to be cremated. They have been such a great source of strength with their professionalism and saying I’m pleased is… an understatement. Martin was very helpful and kind when we met with him to plan our mother's cremation. In addition to the immediate planning needed, he was very informative about other things we would need to deal with, such as obtaining copies of the death certificate. He shared his philosophy for establishing his business, and we felt good in knowing that he and his son are committed to "doing the right thing" for families during a very difficult time. My sister was referred to him by a friend who is a social worker in a hospital.We would not hesitate to recommend their services.

My experience with Thompson & Son Funeral Home started when I had to drop the funeral home i had already started with but could not get an appointment until days later. I walked in off the street and told Jon… my story, he was sensitive and prepared to handle my needs. I just pre planned and pre paid for my cremation desires. Many or most funeral homes do not offer the pre paid option and I was extremely pleased with the kind service I received at Martin Thompson and Son Funeral Home. I recommend them at the highest level.
