We here at Biggers Funeral Home simply want to say "thank you" to those who have been on the front lines -- the first responders, the doctors, the nurses, those working in the nursing homes, and those taking steps to ensure the health of those in our communities.
We've seen trying times before, but we believe that our communities band together and bounce back better than most and for that, we are grateful to you, those who are serving. We have had need of Biggers services twice in the past 6 years. 6 years ago after my dad passed, Gary Biggers met with my mom and I and walked us through the entire process. Everything went exactly as planned and without any surprises. We couldn't have asked for or expected more from the Biggers folks. A week ago my brother died. This time we were serviced by Larry Biggers and Barry. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of these men or the respect shown to my mother and I by everyone that we encountered at Biggers.

Just DONT!
If you dont want your loved ones cremated remains given yo the WRONG person and then LAUGHED at by the director, Barry, TWICE today. This is no longer a local, family business! They are swindlers and crooks and will do nothing but make excuses.

The Bigger's staff are one of the most down to earth and honestly caring group of folks. They will go out of there way to take care of all during a very difficult time. Set up and appointment and establish a relationship with the staff. This will save you lots of money, and give everyone peace of mind.

The staff at Biggers is polite, professional, knowledgable, and caring. Everything you want in a funeral home staff. They do not do flowers in shop, but have a relationship with a florist down the street. Unfortunately they dont tell you all the details of what to expect and what you ask for though. For instance, they got all the details about the obituary from us, but never told us when it would run, and when we asked, they said it already ran... We constantly had to ask questions about planning and organizing, when I would think they would be letting us know what we need to be thinking about

I can say that working at a florist I work with many local funeral homes, calling them for information & arranging delivery times. I have always had a pleasant experience with Biggers funeral home & have a great working relationship with them. When I talk with families they always say how personable & informative Larry & Gary Biggers are. It's a tough job working with families during their time of loss, but they make the experience as easy as it can be. They do a great job.

My mother had passed and pre-paid for a memorial service, but we were looking for a larger location. We called Bigger's and they were very rude and insensitive towards us. They said, "You get what you pay for," in regards to the place my mother had already paid for. I understand their policies, but they did not need to be so rude.

The extra touches make this funeral home unique. it's hard to quantify, as lots of homes provide solid services. still, Biggers is clearly focused on giving the very best at a difficult time.
I also noticed on my drive to the graveside service that the Biggers family has adopted a portion of the highway, without advertising the funeral home.

When my father passed away in 2007, this was the place we used. My mother didn't know what to do or how to do it and was one of the hardest and most stressful time in her life. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Larry Biggers. This guy know his business. There was no pressure to buy upgrades or anything other than what my father wanted. He was so helpful, took the time to explain the different options available. He ordered the death certificates and dealt directly with the insurance company about the life insurance policy. The only reason I did not give them five stars is because I was burying my mother. Honestly the place is great. My mother had her mothers viewing there and she requested it as well. I think she would have been pleased with how she looked, of course this is always a hard thing to deal with but they make it as nice as possible.
